Yep, that's generally true. Trance though is slower (130-140 bpm most of the time) and very melodic.

That remix probably qualifies as happy hardcore, what with the piano & poppy synths. It's kind of a combo of techno & trance, only faster and with happier synths than normal hardcore.

I will admit, some genres seem indistinguishable to me, and most are just combinations of other genres.

Guess if you like a song it doesn't really matter about the genre.

Personally I would call that synth-techno. But as you say, Suika-san, in the end which label you put on it is unimportant. I like "Happy Hardcore" though. :)

i need some help guys i've decided to go through with making some ace combat/idolmaster fanfics but i can't seem to come up with a good callsign for Yukiho. Any sugestions are fine but if you want you can come up with a callsign by using the unoffical pilot rules

1 Yukiho cannot chose her callsign (that easy) it must be given by her friends (thats us or the other idols)
2 it must be semi catchy since it will be used over the radio and she needs to be able to remember it
3 usually the callsign is a reference to an embarasing moment or makes fun of the persons name physical apperance (ie "Sunshine" refers to Iori's forehead) this is optional

help is much apreciated

Callsign? As in... what people say to signify that they're talking to her over the radio in flights/combat or something?

yes for example Chihaya would be called "Buster" because she is made fun of for her bust size. however a callsign can change to something more respectful if it is earned. In Chihaya's case her callsign would change to "Blue Bird" because it represents her character and personality.

What about 'Ace of Spades' or just 'Ace Spades'? Since spade is a reference to the shovel she often uses to try to dig a hole and bury herself in. XD

Well, if you're looking for a callsign, I suppose "Snow Queen" would do, since IIRC, Yukiho's name roughly translates to that.
