Yep, that's generally true. Trance though is slower (130-140 bpm most of the time) and very melodic.
That remix probably qualifies as happy hardcore, what with the piano & poppy synths. It's kind of a combo of techno & trance, only faster and with happier synths than normal hardcore.
I will admit, some genres seem indistinguishable to me, and most are just combinations of other genres.

Guess if you like a song it doesn't really matter about the genre.
Laburey:
Personally I would call that synth-techno. But as you say, Suika-san, in the end which label you put on it is unimportant. I like "Happy Hardcore" though. :)

It fits given how happy and uplifting the song is :D

all i know is that the mix is good i could care less what its classified as. its like sukia said.
