It's not plastic.
Im pretty sure it's made out of Clay, but is a ceramic mug like most usual coffee mugs.

Most places are sold out. If I were you I'd wait until a second wave hits. If there's demand they'll come out again.

Actually CDJapan has it right now, but I'm waiting for some new iM@S products to be posted on their site so I can buy those. I doubt it will sell out anytime soon.
