The tile seems a bit too bright to me, need a video or something to test it.
Currently, with no video, the background is attracting more attention to me even though I'm focusing on a different area of the screen.

If you can wait for a while, I'll have a list, hopefully.

lol I can wait, go ahead and make a list :)

@Drunken - Yeah it does appear bright but I'm not sure how much it'll distract like you said.  Design is fine, maybe if it was a cooler hue like green or blue.

edit: okay so I inverted the color and it looks a little better not being bright.

Hey, this seems to be coming along nicely.  :)

Personally I think the name could be more pointed though. How about "Project-iM@S iDOLM@STER Broadcast" instead of just "The Idolm@ster Broadcast"?

That looks much better, I'll change the title really quick to that.

You need:

  • Topics: You gotta give every your shows a topic (fancy word for 'focus') may it be the game, tips, etc. There could be more than one topic per show, but then, it's your decision.
  • People: Of course, you said you want this as a group project, no? Find people willing to do the show with you. NOTE: You have to adopt to the people your working with. Not to discourage you or anything, but that is how things should roll. This might give an indefinite flow of broadcasting but at least this way, thing will be a bit organized.
  • Plan the flow of the show: It doesn't have to be scripted. What you need to do is know how to start a show, when to do and stop an action, and keep the audience rolling and watching.

Pretty much that's all for now. I suggest right now you find people who will take part with you on this.

Anyway, I think I could help out, being the "YARUO" of your cast. *shot* My GMT is +8. Tell me what I can do then.

Also, you may wanna contact this forum's Avatier. He has a reputation of making game overviews and would be of much help to this project.

@currie - Right now the channel is ready, whoever wants to broadcast something just needs to send me off a PM to get the login or get an XML file to indicate where to stream.  I'm not really that picky about what should be up or not right now, just as long as it's im@s related.  Tonight I'll try and hook up SP and broadcast some free produce with commentary but that's only if I can move my setup around closer to a TV.

@Marx - Good ideas, although it sorta looks like it implies I'm a talk show host and I'm inviting you guys in which isn't what this exactly.  If it does get to that point I'm willing to adapt and try and get something organized.  Your suggestions do apply individually for those who want to make a show to broadcast though.  A lot of this is based on whoever has the tools to step up and wants to add something to the channel.  By group project I guess I mean this right now more like the wiki, something people are working together to build.  Eventually once there are enough people, something more elaborate could be done.

@digi162 If you do a stream tonight I'll try and pop in. If you want a second person for commentary, I can give you my skype name. :3

If you had custom firmware you could use RemoteJoyLite to display the image on your computer screen, but you also need an audio cable.

Yeah, I thought it worked very well for being the first run. We even got one more fan. Also, that green background is good. I had no trouble at all watching the cast from start to finish so it was easy on the eye.
