That sounds right.  It's likely going to follow the same formula as the ML manga where the ML characters are the main focus while the 765pro idols make cameo appearances (with a little bit of advice giving in the early chapters but pretty much absent afterwards).

It's also likely that the ML characters will have their own producer in the anime and not the producer from the 2011 anime (I really hate him.  The CG producer was much cooler.)

So, it seems 765pro is like a minature 346pro with multiple units and producers.  But, that would mean they will likely select a team of ML characters and focus on them kind of like Cinderella Girls Project.  So, a chunk of the ML idols will be left out though they will make appearances again kind of like the CG anime.

Glad to hear that they'll probably have their own producer.

But I wouldn't worry about it, maybe at first they'll focus in a bunch of idols (probably the main trio plus the ones of the movie and maybe two or three more), but if they are going to follow Cinderella's Girl season 2 formula (I'm deducing this for the ending of episode 1 of season 2), they'll end focusing in other idols too.

That's quite a surprise, hopefully they won't just pick some of the characters like in Cinderella Girls.

But Akabane-P is awesome! Why should we even have another producer to replace him?

Can anybody that went to the concert confirm this?

I'm hearing that there were actually two animated trailers for Million Live: one for the LIVE THE@TER DREAMERS series and the other for an anime. Is this legit?

Yes.
Or was it two?... I remember the PV starting off with an animated scene and then going into advertising the LIVE THE@TER DREAMERS series, and then it abruptly moved on to the anime.

Well, actually I'm not that worried since I'm not really a fan of the spin-off series.  But, I'll admit the CG anime wasn't bad, so likely the ML anime will be good.

As far as I can tell from reading all that was confirmed was the concerts, and the PV wasn't an actual confirmation of an anime.
We're still at the stage of the first Onegai Cinderella PV basically.

Which also lead to Cinderella Girls getting an anime. So it's not a 100% confirmation, but it's more of an indirect confirmation of "a Million Live anime is in the table to be made eventually". I'm not expecting this until around 2017. 2018 if they want to tie it into ML's 5th Anniversary.

Well, actually I'm not that worried since I'm not really a fan of the spin-off series.  But, I'll admit the CG anime wasn't bad, so likely the ML anime will be good.

I personally have high hopes and concerns for this because Million Live as a whole is my favorite part of iDOLM@STER ever in terms of characters, music, and story; after thinking about it, I can honestly say that without a doubt. To me, it's an expansion to the original 765Pro with new material to keep it fresh. Something in me is pretty much saying that A-1 (cuz you know they're gonna be in charge of it) is going to have a lot of character mistakes like with 765 and CG and upset quite a number of people that way, and it likely will happen. However, I'm just excited for the fact that Million Live will eventually get more exposure, which I think it does deserve.

Yeah, no date, and... did they actually use the word anime?

Either way, if they don't come out with an anime, a lot of Ps are gonna be rioting. Crowd went wild as soon as they saw animated Million Live. I'm pretty pumped myself - I always wanted to know more about them, but it's kinda late for me to ML it up now (and I'm already CGing it up).

Well, we know it's going to happen sooner or later (probably no date or announcement in the middle of CG anime).

I was just thinking where the Hibiki, Yayoi, and Mami unit would show up. At the beginning maybe?

That's probably just a random insertion to recall 765's girls, CG can't be this successful without them, so to me it feels more like a kind of hats-off.

Well it's not just a hats-off, the CG anime a few connections to the movie that they also threw in for fans of continuity, and I think Million Live will have to work with continuity.

Episode 14 has another obvious reference to the credits of the movie.
Of course, also in episode 14 is an advertisement for 765 Pro All Stars so who knows what they're going to be up to.

HYPE. Please be true, I hope this anime will turn out as good as the original, with even better character balance.

inb4 they make Shizuka a Chihaya 3.0 and give her 7-8 episodes of drama. Unless A-1's gonna pull something off that no one's seeing with the CG anime, and assuming an ML anime is confirmed, and confirmed to be done by A-1, I'm under the impression that this is totally gonna happen.
Not removing this sig until Kachou Fuugetsu becomes more than a 5-page side story.

Shizuka gets a total dramabomb arc in the manga but... That's not to say it won't happen twice lol
