I was always reminded of Ranko any time I heard Firebrand's theme from Marvel 3 play. That's all I got right now.

Nice picks, guys! I shall contribute, even though I don't have a wide knowledge of classic vgm like y'all do. ;)
I tried thinking of one for Haruka and first song that popped in my head was Time from P3P. (though I don't think anything can beat Zeta's pick, them feels T.T) All I got atm.
I'll update when I think of any more.

I always imagined Ranko would have something a bit more gothic. I think something great for her would be Burning Halloween Town from Deathsmiles, due to it and the game's consistent motif of rock/gothic music, which fits her chunni image perfectly. Btw, I highly recommend the game. One of the most fun arcade shoot em ups on the 360, imho.
