THE iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls: Starlight Stage

Thanks a lot for the tips. Unfortunately, my Japanese skills are not just bad, they're nonexistent. I'm guessing the skill makes the difference between healer and tank, but is there a way to quickly find that out? Google Translate gets some of the job done, but when I feed it an idol card's screenshot, it fails pretty horribly.
Haven't seen the wide icon setting yet. I'm running on Android (Nexus 6P).
Edit: Welp. The garmerch wiki helps.

Trancing Pulse is one of the hardest songs (on par with Legne and Anzu), definetely not the best choice to start doing master lol. Start with those that have the least stars possible. Although it's a bit outdated you can refer to this difficulty ranking list: http://blog-imgs-84.fc2.com/7/t/o/7toriaezu/toriaezu6_356.jpg Those at the bottom are very close to some of the harder PRO songs.
9.5 might be too fast while you are still learning the song's layout, so maybe 9 would be better for the first time.
https://starlight.kirara.ca/skill_table is a good place to look for idols skill list. There is a filter at the top. Check healer and guard only, then look for those you have available. They are actually pretty easy to remember when you know where to look for at idol's profile. The structure is always the same: proc cooldown> chance to trigger> duration, (always after a comma) effect description.
A pic for wide option location: its in menu>live settings: http://puu.sh/lQRZY.jpg

If you're stuck on Pro because there are Master songs you can't beat this event (or because you can't beat them well enough to get an encore), and it's way too easy, I recommend doing songs with one hand. It doesn't make it as hard as Master, but it does up the challenge a bit, at least on a tablet.
Personally, I think the healing skills give too much back, but that might just be me. As long as you don't hit a OMG wall, it gives you way more during a song than Life Up bonuses. If you've got a horde of recovery/damage guard idols, Life Up only increases the number of mistakes you can make in a row by like... maybe two or something.
... And seriously, I gotta be the only guy who doesn't change speed in any rhythm game he plays.
Yunabeco:
Sure enough, starlight.kirara.ca is a godsend. I was about to start coding my own. I'm lucky enough to have Hina's SR+, as there doesn't seem to be a lot of tanks.
Thanks. Now I can actually survive (some) Master songs without properly clearing them !
Maka:
Mika gets a chapter! So I think Nana and Kaede will be next, eventually followed by Nao, Karen, and Sachiko/Yuki/Sae (and anyone else who had a major role in the anime).

I'd say that it'd be great if Eve and Hijiri made it to the next event, but then I shudder to think about what you'd have to do to get them. They've both been historically elusive.
