Me too, but I'm not sure if a remake of FFVI would come out well. With today's sytems, game developers have the freedom to do more, but they also have to do more work in order to make a truly first rate game. Also, since FFVI was (aside from some mode 7 graphics) entirely 2D, it would require a great amount of creativity to realize it in 3D. FFVI was already so perfect the way it was released back in 1994. I'm worried that a remake won't be faithful to the original or as impressive as it could be.

Yeah, I feel the same way.

I just wanna see that opera house scene remastered though!  Gawd, making me tear up just imagining how amazing it would be.

[EDIT]
Not much of an E3 thing, though.

[EDIT 2]
VR-related. With some other ex-Bungie guy.

So was I the only one that watched the PC show? I won't say conference, because it was more of a late night talk show format. It was pretty rough around the edges (two and a half hours long with around 30 things shown! The AMD sponsor sections were terrible!) but it was honestly refreshing after the more bombastic ("like a Soviet march" as someone said) conferences of other parties. Wasn't too shabby with what they've shown, either (it's like PC has too many good games that were worth of being shown :-P). Day[9] was a great host and actually asked some questions that people wouldn't dare to ask on the corporate shows, but not of the asshole kind.

Arguably my favorite of E3 actually, regardless of the Sony hype and I'm waiting for the PC show next year - one that is a bit more polished..

I did not see it myself because I do not play games on PC. Not because I don't want to (in fact, I REALLY want to start at some point), it's just that my computer right now is literally a potato and can't run anything current-gen worth a damn.

But I did hear that Killer Instinct is coming to PC, so that's definitely something I'd pick up if I get the opportunity.

By that logic I should only watch the PC show because the only consoles I have now are PS2 and PSP (and a dead PS3, but that obviously doesn't count). ;-)

I mean, it's nice to see all the conferences, but its best to mostly pay attention to the ones you support or own the systems to play the games on.
