I realized it’s been 3 years since I joined, but I never made an intro.  So, here it is.  Sorry, for being late.  And thanks for those that put up with me for all those years.

Q: How did you get into Idolm@ster?
It’s a long story.  It started way back in 2011 when Idolm@ster 2 was just released on Xbox 360.  Around the same time one of the anime news sites I visited had an article about the anime that was coming out.   I was curious and checked out a couple of concerts gameplay videos.  The songs and dance really amazed me, and some of the idols were very pretty like Miki.  However, I was still hesitant since it seemed like one of those visual novels or harem animes where it’s kind of boring especially with wimpy, lame male characters.

That’s when I discovered about Touma and Team Jupiter.  I was like finally I get to see some cool, tough male characters, and I really liked them.  So, my decision to give the anime a try was because of Team Jupiter, and I still highly respect them even until this day even though they moved on to SideM.

When I watched the anime, I wasn’t too impressed by it.  That changed until ep 13 when the idols performed Rest@rt.  I was amazed at the animated dance choreography and I remember replaying that video clip for an hour straight.  The anime got a little bit better, and I became interested in Chihaya after her episodes (though I really hated the producer for being lame, weak, and not doing much for Chihaya when compared to the game).  After the anime I decided to play Idolm@ster 2 PS3.  I chose Chihaya since I’ve seen story gameplay videos and loved the story and romance with her.  Since then, I became an Idolm@ster fan and eventually played OFA.  I also played Shiny Festa on the iphone, but I really didn’t like it.

Q: Who’s your favorite idol woman in the world?
Chihaya.  Especially post-character development.   I love her looks, voice, and personality (she’s mature but is loving/caring while being awkwardly cute).  I still yet have to give a full explanation.

Q: What’s your unit name?
Nemurihime.  It was named after the Idolm@ster 2 manga with the same name.  Coincidently, my unit is the same as the manga, which consist of Chihaya (leader), Miki, and Haruka.  Nemurihime is also the name of the song she sings in the anime during her episode.

Q: Why is your user name mariokirby?
Both Mario and Kirby were my favorite childhood franchises, and I still love them even until now.   When I was a kid I would annoy my parents since I begged them to buy a game or toy from Mario or Kirby.  Of course, the answer 99% of the time was “No!”  So, I learned to do chores for people and saved money.

Q: What does Hiiii mean?
My username is a hint.

Q: What games do you play?
Here a list of games I currently own.  It should get you an idea on other franchises that I like.

PS3/PS4
-Idolm@ster One for All
-Vanquish
-Metal Gear Rising: Revengence
-Final Fantasy XV Demo

Wii U
-Mario Kart 8
-Super Smash Bros. Wii U
I also liked Ninja Gaiden II (Xbox360), but I no longer own that console.  I also played lot of JP fighting games and JRPGs.

What are your favorite animes?

I watched a lot of good animes especially from Crunchyroll.  Below are those that I imported the blu-rays.
-2011 Idolm@ster + Movie + Shiny Festa OVAs (I honestly think the anime is average.  I just bought it to support Idolm@ster)
-Free! (Both Seasons)

What are your favorite mangas?

The only manga I read mostly is Idolm@ster related. I imported…
-Nemurihime
-Idolm@ster mana (based off the anime)
-Colorful Days
-Idolm@ster Fight!! Vol 1

What about ep 9? I found that episode to be so funny! I wish there were more anime with 765 Pro. However their stories seem to have been wrapped up nicely already.

Also, what's that Idolm@ster Fight manga you listed? Never heard of it before, but the title sounds intriguing. ^^

You're right. That Ami/Mami episode was pretty funny, and I liked it myself.  I also wish there were more 765pro anime, but it's unlikely going to happen. (I hoped that they could restart the story with a new producer and ideas like OFA since I don't like the old producer.)  Right now Cinderella Girls is next and probably Million Live after that.

The Idolm@ster Fight!! manga I mentioned was referring to this.  It has nothing to do with fighting by the way.

It's a collection of different web comics based on OFA that's updated every week.  Unfortunately, since the 1st volume is out, they took out all comics that appeared in that volume from the website.  So, the only way is to see the previous web comics is to get the volume or know someone that actually saved all those comics.  I saved only a few of them, but not most of them.

Down Taunts for days!

Anyway, nice to finally get to know you. A little surprised that you got into the series thanks to Jupiter who, ironically enough, almost killed the franchise. They're good characters, I'm just saying. =P
