Glad to know that you two had a great time, despite wonky issues with my internet in the beginning. ^_^;

I've never met any of these guys in person, but I've known Dean, Catherine, and Arturo through the forum since they joined.
I met Seth the two or so times I was able to make it. :U
But yeah, it's a great time.

Very, very good call, indeed. Tonight was a blast, so I'm looking forward for more friendly faces to do rounds with.

Glad to know that you two had a great time, despite wonky issues with my internet in the beginning. ^_^;

If nothing else that wonkiness lead to an in-joke where you're perpetual ender of the world. Woopie and such. :U

Hey, sorry about leaving so early.  I'm kind of acting like a butler for my parents.

Also, sorry, I wasn't not talking much.  Just trying to be polite and all.

Anyways, great session.  I had a lot of fun.

How was the lag for Smash bros?

@everyone

Do you guys know each other?  You guys seem pretty close.

@Deviantprotagonist

Dean, how are you so good on 200cc?  I don't understand.  If I go too fast I hit the wall, but if I brake, then everyone passes me up.

Good man. Modesty of that nature is something I fancy, so I'm content with having you as a friend. Sm4sh went much better than expected, owing to little if any input lag. In regards to 200cc, I've to say it's my favourite way to play Mario Kart 8 now, solely because it makes braking relevant again. As a result, a strategy is imposed where you need to moderate this.

The biggest thing to remember is to never brake before you initiate a drift. Should you only brake during a drift instead, you can capitalize on the momentum prior to drifting, and once you release the drift you'll easily regain speed thanks to the resulting boost. This is pretty much paramount when racing on unforgiving tracks like Dragon Driftway and Neo Bowser City.

Another thing worth considering is to only feather the brake button -- like pressing it briefly as opposed to holding it down outright, which does more harm than good. There's also fact I use inward turning bikes like the Comet, which handle differently in that they've a sharper drifting radius and better acceleration; maybe you can look into these if you've still issues.

@kirby I was actually a new guy amongst y'all too.

Anyways, tonight was pretty cool. Glad I got to hang out with everyone and that I finally got my internet working. Looking forward to next week!

Great to have you, Esteban. I was surprised of your consistent win streak in Sm4sh, despite the six month hiatus.

I'd very much like to hope it was our being weary after 2+ hours play and not us sucking horribly to begin with. :U
Suddenly, bow-wow-wow~. :3

Thanks, for the explanation.  I honestly do practice this stategy, and it works on most tracks.  But, some tracks just have way too many tight turns.  Obviously, I could switch to a lighter weight character and a better handling kart.  But, oh well.  I'm just here to have fun.

I'd very much like to hope the same. I guess we'll just have to see again next week. :3
But really, though. Whether you guys were doing good or bad, regardless I had fun and really enjoyed myself.

Great game, guys.  You guys are awesome.  I apologize for my connection as I was dropping out randomly.  I'm guessing the fact I'm connected to an extender rather than the router may have some interference.

Sorry, for trolling a lot in smash especially with Kirby.  I only do that very rarely.

@MetalPredat0r

Arturo, I'm sorry for not checking my PM.  It must have been inconvenient.  Would it be better if I PM you to let you know if I'm coming?  If you don't hear from me then assume I'm not coming.

@DeviantProtagonist

Dean, you're too good at mario kart.  You are the grim reaper with 3 red shells ready to annhilate me at the right moment.

I wouldn't worry about the Kirby thing -- disrespect is the heart and soul of SSB. That's coming from a guy who loves to Ganoncide for shits and giggles.

Or Kirbycide without a stock loss, as Arturo would be well aware of~. :3

Why do you think this is my 666th post?

:3

In total seriousness, you gave me such a heartbreak moment on Mute City when I thought I've had victory in my grasp -- right at the moment that random Blue Shell stopped you dead at the finish line and I was closing in with a Super Horn -- but suddenly, that defensive Boomerang toss of yours. That fucking Boomerang! ;~;

Still, it's moments like that which make Mario Kart such a memorable game with friends.

Wait.  That was you I hit? Lol.  I thought I hit the CPU since you came out ahead of me.  I should of saved that replay.

How was the gaming session?  Did Dean win again?

Sorry, if I sounded rude on Skype.  I was in a rush.

Dean didn't even show up. He had work. It was just me and Seth with Catherine as a lurker.

You actually weren't rude at all. You just bluntly said "I cannot show up" which is good enough for me.

Hopefully next week we can have more people over so we can have full-on matches with the new DLC.

Yeah, sadly I wasn't able to consume the delicious entrails of my victims friends in a bout of Twisted Metal Mario Kart.

Soon enough, I hope. :3

So, tonight Virgofall showed DeviantProtagonist some...................messed up crap on the internet and I actually recorded his reactions. Here are the reactions! NSFW audio. As in, language and potential bad imagery for your heads.

This one is of Deviant reacting to a subreddit called "spacedicks"

This one is of a bunch of rather mutilated "firemen".
