Oni's iM@S Racing Workshop. [08/04: Shiho Kitazawa x D-MAX/VERTEX Nissan Silvia]

So~~~ Here's a new version of Chihaya's Porsche!
I wasn't satisfied with the last car I was using, so I swapped to a old mod, also a old Porsche, being an old league mod, since it's well-developed, the car definitely looks better when wearing my liveries.
Alright, here it is, the "Blue Comet Type-1"!!
Three images of Chi-chan were taken from the render pack of Million Live cards: Snowflake Lilypad (left side,) Eternal Harmony (bonnet) and Bright Star Ocean (right side.)
Her theme for the car is: Giving my best performance and tenderness without holding back!!
On top of the car, I used iM@S Million Radio logo because it's the best design I've seen from the entire series. (Other than "MoIW '15" and "Hop! Step!! Festival!!!" since those are kinda hard to rip.)

Experimental electroplated vinyl effect are done by using alpha channel, although Photoshop supports only one per texture, but that's way enough.
Next I'll make a different car for Miki, although the last one looks fine, I wanna improve it.

Three images taken from Million Live cards are: Mage Princess (right side,) Red/White Plum Fashion Show (left side) and The Most Glittering Stage on the bonnet.
Her theme is: Sexy and talented top idol.
I used exactly the same base paint with different color... don't blame my laziness, just had no idea while I was making it :-X
Up next: Shiho Kitazawa, her gunslinger cards are indeed sexy, and that can surely give me some idea... ;D

Those look nice! How long does it take you to make one of those? I really like the Chi-chan one. :-X I would shamelessly drive it everywhere.
Also, who else are you planning to do? Aside from Shiho, of course, as I see you already mentioned doing one of her.

Thank you ;D It took me about one day to complete Chi-chan's livery, the reason is, I was thinking about "how should I make it?" while making the livery at the same time.
If you wanna drive it on the street, there are a lot of people who drive this kind of cars in Japan, and most of those are truly high performance street racers!! (RX-7, Silvia S-15, even some European cars like Mercedes-Benz are used as base car.)
The main reason that I picked this Porsche is it has the most basic template, that way I'll be able to spend the least time, producing best liveries. Other cars have more complicate settings, I was about to make her livery on Mazda/Lola B08/80 prototype, but that one has no enough place for the character image.
Here's what Mazda/Lola B08/80 looks like, it may be one badass-looking race car, but for itasha-themed livery? Just NO.
Miki's livery only took me about two hours to complete, since all the source images are on my HDD, all I had to do is re-size them and place on the template, then set up the alpha channel.
I was thinking about a different color placement, but ended up with no idea. So the base paint has almost no difference than Chi-chan's :-X
Aside from, Shiho? Hmm... Shizuka is also on my working table, and I'll definitely make one for Princess Haruka 8) Takane is also one of the chosen, and then... Makoto, Kotoha, Mirai, Futami Twins, Karen and Yukiho.
We'll see if I can take all the girls from Million Live, but currently I only have a list as above. All I need to do is looking up the Wiki for ML newcomers' representative color.
By the way, instead of Petit! Idolm@ster characters, I used PuyoM@S characters on the rear bumper.

After a few hours of painting, first rough sketch of Shiho's livery is done; her representative color is really... DULL. But I finally decided to make a completely new background :-X
Bare in mind this is just a work-in-progress preview, the final version will be shown when completed. I'm going to merge that dirt-alike half with chrome effect, then paint the white area in matte, thus I can lit her color up a bit.
I was going to put Rune Trigger on bonnet, ended up it sits on the left side... let me know if you like this layout, guys and girls.
