What do you mean by this?

They're simply off-vocal versions of a song, like the "Original Karaoke"s written on CDs.

Is it just that? Isn't that already clear with "If you have a crappy microphone and a program that just lets you record background music really muted in the background, go for it!" and "2. A cappella covers are also totally welcome. Go for it." Or does it mean instrumental covers are also welcome? That's what i'd do, that's why i'm asking.

So, in addition to karaoke, we could also share our voice to one another -- even if without an inclination to singing, yourself. I've always wondered what the lot of you sound like, so here's my share to ease things along. :3
That blatant sexiness aside, Mediafire is definitely good as an alternative file host; you can register, then simply drop in folders the MP3 files you want to link to. It's a more permanent choice, but regardless you'll get more out of Vocaroo on the fly. Really depends on your mood.
That being said, time for me to get into the spirit of this thread; here's a fabulous cover I did in devotion for my beloved Chihaya-chan~. You 90's folk will get it for sure.
Also I'm terrible something fierce. :U

ChocoCats is right, yes. You are ALSO right in the sense that I pretty much already covered that in previous rules, but I figured I would add that just in case to make it abundantly clear that, yes, the use of off-vocals is totally welcome.
As for you, Kimiko, I look forward to hearing what you've done!
As soon as YouTube gets unblocked again darn it
DeviantProtagonist:
Definitely a grand start, Kimiko! You've a very pleasant voice, and personal favourites like Little Match Girl and Fate of the World are much appreciated. When did you take up singing?

My pleasure. Sometimes I even make myself gush in light of my god-tier skills. :U
Expect this to be a preview of sorts, since I'm all for dabbling in karaoke for fun.

I love backstreet boys

Looking forward to it, ani. While Backstreet Boys' context tend to be taken with jest, I do enjoy their genuine pop. Songs like Everybody and Larger Than Life make damn good dance tunes.
