Gah, one my imoutos does this too much!  Warms up food right before she leaves, then yells as she's leaving, "Can someone eat that for me? ^.-" or just plain forgets about it. >.<  I'm like "Quit wasting food!! I'm not gonna eat everything for you!"

If you leave waffles in there for a long time after toasting them(especially if you make 'em crispy), they will harden up(or become chewy if originally soft).

You know, you're right to say thankful. Too often learning things like this with your parents comes way underappreciated.
