Ivan The Mouse:
We don't care about Ramen packets being full of chems back here. Besides, we tend to put MSG on everything we cook.

So yeah, we enjoy our instant noodles without worries. Because we never cared.

Naryoril:
Instant ramen... i'm still trying to find good ones where i live. Though i heard there is a ramen shop in the city where i work that makes the real deal. I know there is one that makes westernized versions, they are not bad, but i just prefer the original.
But since i'll be going to Japan next week, the first time in hanami season, i definitely plan to eat ramen. But even more than ramen, i'm looking forward to get some okonomiyaki, there isn't a single okonimyaki restaurant in Switzerland, argh! Once i even flew to Amsterdam with a friend for a prolonged weekend, just because there is an okoniyaki restaurant. We also went to Düsseldorf once for that reason, but they were the worst okonomiyaki i ever had, including the self made ones. The shop in Düsseldorf is closed by now btw.

But to go even further astray: I recently bought this double ocarina: http://www.steinocarina.com/productsDetail.php?id=299
But the more i try the more i'm convinced that the second chamber isn't tuned correctly, even though the multi chamber ocarinas from this maker have a very very good reputation. I'm in contact with them now. The last thing i did was recording a video before going to work this morning of me playing the scale to make them believe something is not right. Or maybe i'm making a mistake myself and i hope then they can see it, but i checked that on Skype with David Ramos/docjazz already (the guy playing the ocarina in this Yakusoku cover: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rvwTgWcaVNg , he also made a ton of different about the ocarina).
On that note, i have my next ocarina lesson this evening on Skype. I'm currently practicing to play Aoi Tori, but it's giving me a lot of trouble. Yakusoku will be next.

And to add to this convoluted set of thoughts, i recently found out that there is a second official book with im@s sheet music apart from the ages old M@sterbook. The new one from last year has many of the "newer" songs like Ready, Change, Yakusoku or arcadia, but unfortunately for me they are piano arrangements.

Ooookooooonooomiiiiyaaakiiiiii that stuff is so awesome. I don't really use eggs a lot though, so I'm a little worried about making it myself. And there's no way I can go through a bag of bean sprouts before they go bad.

Ivan The Mouse:
Mmmmn, spaghetti. We cooked spaghetti today, and I dunno why they did so, since they only cook spaghetti here during special occasions.

Don't know if you're into maid cafes, but there'll be an Im@s Cinderella Girls cafe there. You might be able to pick up some swag too.

There's also the Im@s official shops. There's one in Nakano Broadway, Nagoya, Osaka, and Fukuoka.

EDIT: Oh hey, looks like Characro's doing a Happy Birthday thing for Haruka too. I don't think that's a maid cafe, just a regular themed cafe like Good Smile. You might need reservations, though.

... Come to think of it, where'll you be? If you can take pictures of hanami, please share!
