Hey there!
« on: February 16, 2015, 02:52:07 am »
Hi there, everyone! I'm Snow. I've been lurking on the wiki and forums lately and I figure, "eh, why not make an account since I'm here most of the time?"

I'm a guy, I'm 19 years old, and I hail from the land of Mounties and maple syrup! I like to read, listen to music, writing, and play video games in my spare time.

Eri, let's see… I got introduced to the series by this Lucky Star x iM@S MAD, but I didn't truly start getting into it until I stumbled upon Kosmos, Cosmos. Needless to say, I got hooked right then and there. I can't pinpoint the exact time this happened, but I do remember it was around iM@S2's release.

Anyway, my favorite 765pro idol is Yukiho, and my favorite 876pro idol is Eri. Anya and Fredrica are competing for the spot of favorite CG, while my favorite SideM is Haruna. Million Live, uh… well, to be perfectly honest… I haven't gotten into ML at all yet, oops.

In any case, I hope to be an active member on this forum!

Also, if anybody's wondering, yes. My username is from Love Live //slapped

Yay Canada!

So why is Yukiho your favorite 765pro idol? I can relate to her because I used to be a lot like her.

Anyway, welcome, Snow. :)

Ahh, Yukipo's my favorite because I relate to her struggle of opening up to others very well. That, and she was the idol that introduced me, and got me into the iDOLM@STER series in the first place. (That MAD and Kosmos, Cosmos, ahhh…)

Also, I've yet to play any of the games. I've been thinking of importing One For All ever since Christmas time, but I'm just waiting on what this year may bring… It is the 10th Anniversary, after all!

Since you're thinking of importing OFA, does that mean you can read Japanese and can understand spoken Japanese? I'd import the games too and play them, but I have very little comprehension of the Japanese language and I'm not sure how tedious using a guide while playing would be.

Welcome to the fold, Snow. OfA is very much playable even without Japanese comprehension. A guide doesn't require all that much attention once you're familiar with the motions.

But another Canadian representative with a fondness of Yukiho, Eri and Anya? We're going to get along soundly. :3
Suddenly, bow-wow-wow~. :3

Thanks so much for the welcomes, you guys!

Now, my grasp on Japanese is rather vague, but I can still somewhat understand what people are saying out loud, so maybe that should be good enough? I hope... Anyway, I've thought of importing OFA before it was released, but held it off is because of the rather... extreme prices when it was first released, even with the regular edition. And I have a very limited income.. But now that the game's been re-released at a much more reasonable price a few weeks back, that shouldn't be a problem anymore!

Anyway, I'm still very excited about what this year may have in store for the series! I'm mostly looking forward to the CD releases of the new DLC songs everyone got in OFA. Every Personal Song, 99 Nights Ultimate Eyes, and Shizuka na Yoru ni Negai o...

Ah, sorry to resurrect a dead thread, but uh...

Thanks for all the (really late, oops ) welcome messages, guys!

And also, apologies for disappearing like that. Turns out that life  threw a few curveballs at me soon after I registered here OTL''
But still, I managed to get into the rhythm of things now, and things are alright for the most part!

In other news, I finally caved and imported One For All a few weeks back and man oh man, I was so glad I bought it when I had the chance, ascfgbdrfyt I've been producing Yukiho, Makoto, and Haruka under the name "melee"(no capitals or anything, just melee)
