Although I never considered camping out around the dome, I did think about getting the last train there the day before and maybe just walk around the area until it was time to line up. It would destroy my sleep patterns, especially for the Day 2 concert, but why take second measures, right? Heh. I might not have to do that...
I checked on Google and it said that it was just over an hour train ride to the dome from my hotel (Gracery Shinjuku):
18 miles apart. I think walking is out of the question... For me, at least. If you're coming from further out, feel free to use it as a halfway point on your way. You don't have to sleep on concrete (trust me, it hurts your back) if you're only one train ride away!
