better get the hotels sooner than later, because japanese summer holidays start at the weekend of the concert.
What's that trip you always wanted to do?
Thinkin' of doing Shikoku, then swinging down to Kyuushuu by ferry and hitting up a bunch of places there. Kyuushuu is really rich in history, it's just really far from like... everything. I think I'm gonna give up on hearing back from one guy I know and start going down there on Wednesday or Thursday.
Unfortunately, I realize you kinda have to have a car rented to do Iya Valley. I hear it's a gorgeous place, though.
Let's all cheer together o/
Also, wishing you luck on hotels...Like Naryoril said, it might be difficult if you wait.
Last time I was in Japan, I landed with only one or two nights of stay. One hotel contacted me saying they didn't have any slots open, and that was after I got to Japan. Also, my luggage was delayed by a hurricane. So here's a travelling tip: if you have to go to the 100 yen store to pick up shirts, only get the black ones. The grey ones get semi-transparent with a bit of sweating, and I don't want to imagine what the white ones are like.
Yes, that trip slightly sucked. But I made the most of it, and got to see some cool places.
I got hotel time for the concert at least... but not before or after. I'll see if I can't luck my way into something closer, but one of my friends got a hotel for us out in Ueno. We'd have to leave the dome at 23:00 or so if we want to make it back. I mean, we could off-kai or something, I totally don't mind, but I know two other people going and don't know what they wanna do.
Although when I think about it... I still haven't made P cards. I might have to get them rushed.
