Based on the (admittedly vague) song choices for this first set, they seem to either get a solo of a group song or a song that's connected to them. I would think something like Takane and My Best Friend is the most obvious example, but they could definitely dig up some unique choices for the others that I can't really guess which could happen. Please no LMG for Yukiho, though. It's the incredibly obvious option and would just be a huge waste when they could settle for a unique song or have Azumin sing an image song. Still need those MASTERS, Namco.

ya but i have a huge feeling they'll do it anyways because they love being obvious like how it'll be obvious that yayoi will probably get ai like hamburger, which will still be really good anyways. plus yukiho's version is really nice. but i agree they really need to make a Kosmos,Cosmos Azumi M@STER Version and its long overdue.

Makoto almost always being given the most blatant sexual songs makes some sense IC, considering how much she's trying to drop her tomboyish side and gain a male audience. She doesn't really work "kawaii" well 9 times out of 10, so what other routes could she take that don't involve her going back to her tomboyish traits AND work for her? That said, I can understand where it seems "off". Especially when at the same time, we're giving her Kimi*Channel as her OFA DLC MASTER and that's probably the girliest tone I've ever remembered her singing in

...at least we'll probably never see Virgin Load in the games. I'm fairly sure that trumps even Agent as "most blatant iM@S sex song"... and now I'm wondering if either Miki or Takane will get that for their album solo. Not sure how to feel about THAT. Inferno for Yuki solo please though?

That's true. It does make sense, but it still feels weird to me.
I think it's because idols themselves are kind of supposed to be innocent. That seems to me to be the biggest reason idols aren't allowed to date. Yet then we get songs like Yoru wo Yuku and freaking Virgin Load.

Yeah, OK, that one was pretty bad in terms of blatant sex songs. Unfortunately catchy, and the girls sounded great, but still.

Really? I always thought Agent was the most blatant. "showing keyholes" and all.

The whole line "sweet and dangerous night for two" and the flat-out "I want you" were kinda red flags for me in Zekken. xP
But yeah, she really just has a lot of those period.
And like I said, I get why.
But it's still kinda weird.

Other real life idols get sex songs too, though. Just look up Sailor Fuku wo Nugasanaide, and that's an old one. Like, 80s old.

Now looking at the jacket art closely, I can see more problems of them besides other problems mentioned on this thread.

1. The hands weren't 'cleaned' up. If you look very closely, you can see the skin color seeping out of their hands.
2. Makoto's left eye is not only uneven, but also too wide, distance wise. If it's moved a bit to the southwest, it'll look better.
3. A minor one, but Hibiki's shaded part on her right leg wasn't completely filled in.

Do they? I'm honestly not all that familiar with real-life idol culture. Unless you count the ones in America, who practically live and breathe sex songs and REALLY shouldn't be considered "idols" in any sense of the word.

Everyone keeps talking about requesting songs. Can you actually request songs to the people who choose them, or is that just saying you're requesting it mentally?
If you can make actual requests, I'd love it if you could tell me how. I've been wanting Owari no Hoshii no Love Song songs for years now. XD

A while ago Maka made a post about how to request songs:

Basically, the process for requests goes as following:

-namco posts announcement of a new cd, along with the cast [no tracklist or jacket yet] on the columbia site. Requests are open now. The request sheet usually has stuff like song title, original artist, the idol you want to sing it, the producer name you want to go by, why you want it sung, and some other questions. Usually the questions are pretty varied, like "how many idolmaster cds do you own", "have you bought any of the cinderella master cds", the like.
-Roughly 2 weeks later, requests are closed.
-About 3 weeks from then, the tracklist is compiled and posted, along with who originally sang the cover song, the person that requested it, etc.

Perhaps the process is still the same today?

I guess they edited the opening post, but originally there were links to the request pages. They took them for each set all at once for about a month or so, so you can't submit any for this time.
