I always just heard people call her that and never questioned why... It's like Chiaki Takahashi being called Chiaking. Why is she a king? We don't know.

I've seen people romanize it as Mingoth though so.

If I remember correctly it went something like this.
Asami Imai -> Asamingosu -> Mingosu

Six days is far too soon for the next batch to be planned and shown off, dontcha think? You probably shouldn't expect any info on the next batch until early August.
