Hello from Italy :>
« on: December 16, 2014, 12:18:24 am »
Hi there, I'm Emanuele and I'm a 18 years old guy who lives in the middle of Italy. ;)
For this reason, I could be not so accurate on writing in english and there could be a lot of grammatical errors...Sorry for this x°

Oh, and I usually don't use any translator, so this is a 100% pure english text written by an Italian guy ;>

I'm a fan of Im@s since...Well...A week? Lol, but I already love this show so much and I felt the need to talking about this game/anime with someone expert, since in Italy Idol Master is not that famous.

I love ALL of the Idols so far, but Yukiho took a place in my heart <3

I also love Azusa, Iori, and the rest too, obv. :'>

I'm looking forward Cinderella Girls Anime too (I saw the trailer and...OMG ANASTASIA YOU'RE AN ANGEL).
I also like the pink-haired one, but I don't know her name...

I'm lazy and indolent and...Well, I've already written so much x°>

I'm sure I will be fine among all of you!

C'ya!  ;D

Welcome to the forums, Emanuele!

You started the franchise with the anime too? I guess it is a primary place for newbies to start.

I also like the pink-haired one, but I don't know her name...

Mika Jougasaki.

Welcome to the forum, I'm a fan of Iori and Azusa as well! Do you have any plans to play any of the games?

Mika Jougasaki.

... Come to think of it, there's more than one idol with pink hair.

Either way, Neve, welcome to the forums!

So you've been a fan for a week, eh? Back in 2007, when I was that new to idolmaster, the dance animations from the game were hypnotic; possibly because the graphics were so far ahead of their time. I wonder if they're still hypnotic to a new fan in 2014.

About the anime, what episode are you at?

Anyway, welcome! :D

Yes, I do!

Right now, I was wondering me wich game to buy, Idolm@ster 2 or One for all?

I know there are some downloadable characters (Ai, Eri, Ryo, Serika) but aren't they default idols? I'm so confused about im@s games right now +___+

Welcome to the fold, Eman. Anastasia is definitely sublime, but personally, my major gripe is the lack of Kaede in this anime. It's heresy~.

As for which game to buy, definitely go for One for All; it's the most recent iM@S game that improves upon Idolm@ster 2's various flaws and features. The characters you mentioned come as DLC, as well. The default idols on the other hand have their own line up of characters.
Suddenly, bow-wow-wow~. :3

Actually I would suggest emulating one of the Idolm@ster SP games (several routes/idols are fantranslated including Iori's) before actually going and putting money out for a game. At the very least, it would give you an idea of what the gameplay is really like and if you're interested in the rest. As far as the debate between OFA and Idolm@ster 2 goes, OFA definitely seems to be the better game from what I've seen and heard; but I've only played Idolm@ster 2 and won't get OFA until late January/early February so I can't give my personal opinion on it. I know the main differences are that you can mix and match outfits whereas in Idolm@ster 2 all the idols had to wear the same thing at a time and you can also put ami, azusa, ritsuko, and iori in your main group whereas in Idolm@ster 2 they were unavailable for the main part of the game and you could only use them for Stage For You and in the special side story focused around Ryuuguu Komachi. Theres also a different rival.

The default idols for OFA and Idolm@ster 2 are Haruka, Chihaya, Miki, Iori, Azusa, Ami, Mami, Makoto, Yayoi, Yukiho, Takane, Hibiki, and Ritsuko. You also get the three Jupiter characters but only for Stage For You. Ai, Eri, and Ryo are only default idols for the DS game Dearly Stars. When it comes to downloading them as dlc in the other games, you can only use them in Stage For You with 2 songs each iirc. I'm pretty sure you can't use them in the main portion of the game at all. Same goes for Serika and all the other Cinderella Girls and Million Live DLC idols.

Welcome, I'm glad to know there are other italians who are into iM@S.  :)
As for the best choice to approach iM@S, I'd suggest OFA. OFA is easier than iM@S 2 and there are no time limits, therefore you can take your time to fully understand the gameplay without compromising your first run. However if you start with OFA you could find some difficulties when you'll play the older iM@S games.

Aw, Thank you so much! But i already bought im@s 2  because it was cheaper, and I could buy an Iori Nendoroid wit it <3
In future I could buy OFA too...Who knows.
Thank you a lot btw;>
