Hello Friends!
« on: November 15, 2014, 11:14:54 pm »
I changed some of the questions, I hope that's ok!

Personal Info:

Sex: Male
Country of Origin: USA
Age (upon joining): 17
Hobbies: Mostly dancing. I've learned the entire dance to Kiramekirari, and I plan on learning more soon. Probably Deshou? next, but I like Jibun Rest@rt and Smoky Thrill a lot too.

=Q&A=

Q: How did you come across this site?
A: I wanted to look up lyrics for some songs.

Q: Why did you join this site?
A: Not sure, mostly on a whim I guess. Maybe to make a request since I really want to see Honey Heartbeat as a Hibiki/Ritsuko duet but I haven't been able to find it on YouTube.

Q: Do you play it?
A: No, and I'm not sure if I'll get the chance to either.

Q: Do you wish you could play it? (Ignore this part if above answer is "Yes")
A: Sure

Q: Who is your fave idol?
A: Chihaya, and I feel like I have a weird story about why.

I was messing around on Youtube a couple months ago watching random videos and somehow came across a video of the iM@S1 idols dancing to Caramelldansen (I now recognize that they were doing the dance to The Idolm@ster, which makes me feel pretty cool 8)). I thought it was super cool that there was a game about singing and dancing that wasn't karaoke or DDR, so I wikipedia'd it and found the anime. From the first episode, I decided that Chihaya would be my least favorite character (the Futamis were early favorites) because of how boring and dull she was with her "I only care about singing" attitude. Then her arc came and I just understood. Then I found out she had one of the highest dance stats in iM@S2 and was like "lol why not"

Q: Idols from most to least favorite?
A: Chihaya, Hibiki, Azusa, Takane, Makoto, Mami, Haruka, Ritsuko, Ami, Yukiho, Yayoi, Iori, Miki

Q: What are your favorite iM@S songs?
A: Watashi-tachi wa Zutto...Deshou? ; CHANGE!!!! ; Ai Like Hamburger ; shiny smile ; Honey Heartbeat ; Yakusoku ; Kosmos, Cosmos ; Here we go!! ; Kimi*Channel has been growing on me

Q: Why is your username "SideM"?
A: I really like the male idols and I think they should be respected a bit more :/

Welcome! :D

I'm glad you like Chihaya. She's one of my favorites too. I actually liked her before the anime started, because I already knew some of her story, so I didn't have the chance to get to know her the way you did. Have you watched the anime a second time? If so, did Chihaya in the earlier episodes come across differently?

Hello and welcome to the forum, SideM! You chose a cool nickname! Do you like cats?

I've learned the entire dance to Kiramekirari, and I plan on learning more soon.

Wow! It's amazing! :o

Then her arc came and I just understood. Then I found out she had one of the highest dance stats in iM@S2 and was like "lol why not"

Here is my story (it may be not so weird as yours but still):

I discovered im@s two years ago browsing the list of the animes Asami Shimoda voiced characters in. She was my most favourite singer at that time, so I was really exited about her work as a seiyuu. The anime turned out to be even better than I imagened! After watching the first episode I decided to search for the Futami twins' songs on Youtube. The first results were "Little match girl" and "Kiramekirari":

The Futami twins were my most favourite characters until the fourth episode and unforgettable "Aoi tori ~TV ARRANGE~". Since then Chihaya is my number one.

Q: Idols from most to least favorite?
A: Chihaya, Hibiki, Azusa, Takane, Makoto, Mami, Haruka, Ritsuko, Ami, Yukiho, Yayoi, Iori, Miki

Here is my list:

Welcome to the Forums, SideM......... Wow, first time I've seen a username like that. :P

Dancer, eh? Have you uploaded any videos of you dancing to these songs? This makes me jealous because I just plain can't dance, period. X)!

I feel you on the male idols. All of them are pretty underrated. At least, the four I actually know info about right now. Heh.....
Haikus are easy
But sometimes they don't make sense

I haven't, but I thought about watching it again to see if I missed anything. Now that I actually know their stories, I'm sure I'll feel different. I'll probably like her even more :P

Lol thanks. I did want to watch Xenoglossia, but I was waiting until I had more time for it. Cats are cool, I used to have one but it ran away...

I love that version of Aoi Tori. I didn't realize it was a different version at first so I was disappointed when it sounded different in game.

Nah, I don't have any videos. I may know the choreography, but I don't look good doing it XD

Welcome! Always nice to see new faces.

I'm in the same boat. One day I'd like to record myself dancing, if not only just to see how terrible I look. x'D

ONWARDS, AOSHIMA!!!
