So, Halloween.
« on: October 31, 2014, 01:59:49 pm »
That time already? It sure flies~, so is anyone going out for the occasion? Handing out treats? Trying out for local costume contests following a dance night? Drinking, perhaps? I know I am. Feel free to share your experiences to be had on this day, and if you can be sure to show off your costume because tradition. :3

For my wares, refer to this:

For my costume, it'll pretty much be something unheard of, owing to 'WTF LOL' reactions. In a nutshell, mix this with THIS and you'll have my new identity:

Suave Horse. I'm also looking to have a cane or a pipe to complete said identity. :3

I also have a monocle to complete said identity because swag and not totally because I'm furry or something. :3 Times will be grand, indeed... that being said, Happy Halloween peoples! For a bonus, let's have Stuart Ashens lead things off with obligatory, quarter-assed merchandise.

I have no idea, hopefully nothing. Last time I had to go out with my little sister and her schoolfriend to watch over them as they collect sweets and not liked it at all.

Maybe I'll play some Silent Hill or whatever.

I work at an elementary school, so today we'll have kids already hyped up on sugar and running around in odd costumes.. Our bosses told us that we had to dress up too, so I'm going to be the big bad wolf today.

Which sucks because half of the kids are taller than me and I'm on a college budget with less than a public education salary.

But at least the kids will enjoy it.

Not sure if I'm gonna end up doing anything. Probably just gonna get myself a bunch of candy for myself to munch on and another big bag for when any kids come over. Not very excited this year, though. :P

Maybe the closest I'll do is play with NiGHTS into Dreams' Halloween costumes.

I'm not really going to be doing anything for Halloween. My boyfriend is gonna buy me a pizza so I'll probably just spend the day eating pizza and watching anime; might play some Idolm@ster 2 or something else. Basically an average day for me.

Eh, not really doing anything for Halloween besides giving out candy and eating them. Not in a good mood today because I lost my painting and paints for AP Studio Art in school. >.>

Average Day dept. here, mostly just doing other tasks around the house and napping. ...I'm trying to ignore the want for pizza myself; don't want candy tbh.

If I actually had somewhere to go or something to do, I'd go out with my green gloves and my Little Mac shorts... but I can't think of anything I gotta do outside.

This Halloween and every successive one for the rest of my life was/will be perfect.

I really just spent a few hours trick-or-treating around the neighborhood with my sister and our friend (I still trick-or-treat because I love costumes and candy, don't judge me) and then went to a friend's Halloween party and watched Attack on Titan and cried a bunch, but the reason this was so special was because of my costume.

I was a gypsy.
But not just any gypsy.
I was Tzigana Frid.
And I was THE first official cosplayer of a character from the Veros Vs. Shadows franchise.
What is Veros. Vs. Shadows, you ask?

My friend from Dubai and I made it up. X'DDD
Basically we started this roleplay ages ago with OCs and everything and from there we drew the characters, wrote fanfictions, made drama CDs (I'm not kidding, I've made official drama CDs for this series where I voiced every character I had X'DD), made character profiles...heck, I'm making a tropes page for it.
A TV TROPES PAGE.
THIS THING SHOULD BE AN OFFICIAL ANIME MY FRIENDS IT IS THAT FABULOUS.

My friend has this character who's a gypsy, so I was like, "oh hey I'll be a gypsy for Halloween I WILL BE TZIGANA!!!"
So I got a blonde wig, had my little sister do my makeup, and dressed in the most fabulous of gypsy costumes. And I was the first official cosplayer of the franchise.

The big deal about every Halloween ever from now on is that now, every year, me and my friend are going to choose a pair of characters from this franchise we made up, and we're going to be those characters together. And it will be FABULOUS.
NEVER AGAIN WILL I REACH THE DAY BEFORE HALLOWEEN AND STILL NOT KNOW WHAT I'M GOING TO BE.
This is gonna be so awesome. I'm excited. Very excited. As you can tell. xD

ONWARDS, AOSHIMA!!!
