What's the best part of iDOLM@STER?

The iDOLM@STER has characters that you can relate to and characters that you want to be friends with. The anime lets you get to know those characters well (except for some that were put on a bus); if only there were more imas anime!

I feel like you would really enjoy iDOLM@STER OFA's personal commu thing.
They're really entertaining and put the idols in situations that let you understand more about them.

(i.e. Azusa being unable to sleep because of watching a zombie horror movie, Chihaya and you trying out a tent in a store)

Yeah, I wish I could play the games. :( There's this whole other world of imas that I've only seen bits and pieces of on YouTube.

DeviantProtagonist:
The characters and the seiyuu -- it all comes together so well and everything else is just a bonus.

Also, Asami Imai as Chihaya Kisaragi~. <3

Maka:
For me, it's gotta be the music and the characters! Other idol anime and games don't have the exact same "pull" that iM@S does in that category. Plus, I've liked the series since 2008 or so, so it's a little nostalgic.

I also love the outfits, so that's a plus, haha.

Virgofall:
MUSIC MUSIC MUSIC MUSIC MUSIC.

Well, that and the characters (for at least where 765 Pro's originals are concerned - not judging ML or CG as I don't play them), I can relate to them and for the most part, there's generally more than meets the eye on them all.
But that's still pretty far behind when compared to the music for me, as there's simply so much of it, and so much variety in it...
