Eh, Chrom isn't a playable character, so I really don't believe in the leak anymore. In fact, Sal said on Smashboard that Shulk's going to revealed this Monday. Guess what? That didn't happened.

I am happy for Robin's confirmation and Chrom not being playable, once and for all disconfirming the Gematsu leak. Now the roster can actually surprise me again until September.

I do like Lucina as a skin. Reminds me of Injustice with Green Lantern having Hal Jordan and John Stewart as alternate skins.

EDIT: I checked the site. Lucina has her own page, so its safe to say she's a separate character? I don't mind clones, tbh. Though for Lucina, it makes sense since *SPOILERS for Awakeneing* Lucina masquerades as Marth.

I've never played any of the Fire Emblem series, so it was fun not being able to recognize anyone beyond Captain Falcon. That said, they all look pretty amazing.

Same here. I only knew about Chrom and Lucina from the Fire Emblem Wiki.

I'm not saying Lucas is gonna get the axe for sure, I'm just saying Ness has higher chances. Lucas still has hope in my eyes. Look at Ike. People thought he was gonna get replaced, but he made it back in. Sakurai is an unpredictable individual.

(Though it's likely a bit late now, might have legit spoilers for Fire Emblem: Awakening below.)
I was a bit concerned about Lucina's inclusion, what with the issues that surrounded Lucas - namely, that many players wanted his game (MOTHER 3) over in the West. Cue Brawl, and the SSE spoiled key bits of plot for the game, so players weren't too happy about that. Given the fact that Lucina's insanely plot-important to Awakening, I was wondering if they'd shy away from including her, given that HER MERE EXISTENCE is a massive spoiler for Awakening (once she shows up, you discover a LOT OF THINGS that spur the story from there on). So if they exclude Lucas, it really can't be just for that... I'll admit I'll miss him if he's gone though.


But besides, yay Lucina and **** YEAH ROBIN. Somehow I knew the Avatar was coming~ Rosalina has competition now.

She is her own separate character from Marth unlike Male Wii Fit Trainer, Female Villager, and Female Robin. This is mainly because the hitbox of her blade functions differently from Marth. Similar to the main difference between Marth and Roy in Melee.
