Just finished updating SSB in my 3DS. From the looks of it, Yoshi hasn't changed much (some minor buffs) so that's good news for me.

At least Greninja got buffed a bit lol

Too bad my man Sonic got nerfed in the knockback department. Aw well, at least Diddy Kong got nerfed, finally.

Also, I just tested out that apparently pressing A and B at the same time does Smash Attacks now. Not something huge, but it's a neat little feature.

Inb4 Greninja's nerfed with the inevitable Lucas Patch. :p

Smashboards are currently going bonkers trying to figure that out, but for starters the Hoo-Ha's definitely nerfed. Expect developments aplenty.

This is better. This is the most reliable source. Don't bother with the rest.

Yeah, missed that topic in my previous excitement. :P

But yum, look at those delicious Diddy and Sheik nerfs. Lucina's had a bit of a buffet, herself.
Suddenly, bow-wow-wow~. :3

More Smash sport fun.

In all seriousness, Mewtwo feels alright, but I'm not that impressed. Mewtwo's tilts are fast with good reach plus it has decent aerials , throws, and specials, and is packed with power, but I'm not much a fan of its playstyle because of its large size combined with its floatiness and featherweight (lighter than Mr. G&W, I'm dead serious), you have have to play very defenselessly and will have to play its neutral game carefully or else you're done. It's also why I'm not a fan of characters like Jigglypuff and Zelda. They're not bad, but they're not good enough in my eyes, especially comparing them to the likes of Rosalina & Luma.

Putting that aside, I customized my roster a bit more and I gotta say, Villager's Down B 2 (Timber Counter) is stupidly good (and possibly one of the stupidest custom move ever). I kinda wish I saved a replay showing its gameplay with MetalPredat0r here. Anyways, it allows Villager to take advantage of his/her camping game even farther and forces opponents to jump, which Villager has no problem with his/her good aerials. You have to be very patient to deal with that.

My personal favorites are Bowser. Jr's Down B 3 (Big Mechakoopa), windboxes (Mario's Gust Cape, Dr. Mario's Breezy Cape, Kong Cyclone, etc), both of Charizard's Side Bs, and Palutena's Down B 2 (Lightweight).

Question of the Day: What's your main Mii movesets and why?

Here's mine to start.

ChocoCats the Gunner: 3 (Grenade Launch), 1 (Flame Pillar), 3 (Arm Rocket), 1 (Echo Reflector)
----- Good zoning tools for the first two, best recovery out of the three plus I can control its trajectory, and Echo Reflector is good enough for me.

Alex the Swordfighter: 2 (Shuriken of Light), 3 (Chakram), 3 (Hero's Spin), 1 (Blade Counter)
-----All of them are the least suckiest ones out of all of them. Yeah, Swordfighter's are pretty terrible.

Sophia the Brawler: 2 (Ultimate Uppercut), 2 (Burning Dropkick), 2 (Helicopter Kick), 3 (Foot Flurry)
----- Combination of kill power and recovering options. I could go with Piston Punch, but I like Helicopter's Kick's power more and Brawler's recovery sucks anyways.

Just for curiosity: Are you guys playing online with each other? Don't you have problems with lag?

We do it once a week. Lag depends on connection. If everyone has a good connection, the online is near flawless. If at least one person has bad connection, the entire match lags, though even then the lag is either bearable or unplayable.

I see...
Well... I tried playing online with someone on the other part of the world, but we couldn't due to lag. If the connection was the problem, therefore... the problem is with me. :p
BTW, thanks for the information! o/

Welp, everything we've ever possibly known is in vain. Simply pick this weegee~.

Take it from me, your connection will become smooth as it gets once you buy the LAN adapter. Having played the Wii U from both sides, I know it's far better to go wired than otherwise. Even with a decent router there can be outside interference.

Oh, I see. I'll try that when I get more time in hands. Thanks. o/

Normally, Little Mac's Guard Breaker is better than the default by a notch unless it's buffered out of hitstun...

And also,

Quote
Same with Falcon's Wind-Up Raptor Boost. Using it out of hitstun doesn't force the initial pullback, but keeps him there, then proceeds to throw him over nearly the entire length of FD. - RumblePak

And a bonus.

EDIT: Lucas and the Inkling Mii costumes are coming on June 14th.

And so is the Miiverse stage for the Wii U version.

Still waiting on my Tournament Mode, though.......
