So, how does one deal with bugs?

<< < (2/2)

DeviantProtagonist:
Man, I guess I should be thankful that I've not dealt with the baby spider issue. Looking back, my old highschool teacher and her husband were sitting on their house deck and, upon killing said spider, they pretty much had to stomp away at the floor because baby spiders everywhere. Yeesh.

But damn it all, that's straight up terrible to hear of, Setsuna. D: Still, I'm more than happy to see you're still around. The spiders around here I have a love-hate relationship with in general -- they get rid of other pests whilst I go about with leisurely business...

But, if they get within an area I traverse or edge too close for comfort to my computer desk, then it swiftly dies. More onto spider superstition, I never saw a tarantula in person before; there's no doubt in my mind that I'd literally die upon first sight. God damn.

Owing much to our consolation, I hear walnuts are a very good remedy for these arachnids -- it contains a neurotoxin which they don't take fondly of, apparently.

Setsuna:
Well, I'm actually pretty tolerant of most rodents, bugs and other things (even cockroaches) until they start interfering with things I need to do.

And when I said I was this close, let's put it this way. I got to see my completed tombstone. It didn't quite have that on it (the dead person doesn't get a vote) but I certainly had a few choice words about what WAS on it. :P

Cien Laguoire:
Thankfully, I don't get Xbox-huge bugs where I live, and I've never really had to deal with pests of the non-bug sort, like raccoons, rats, and mice.

Get some Off on ya for repellent, and use a good ol' swatter for getting rid of pests. Anything bigger...
