SEGA of America's "Controversial" Momocon Panel

(1/2) > >>

MetalPredat0r:
So at Momocon 2014, Sega of America released a slide during their panel of "Questions they cannot answer" and it is causing a MASSIVE s**tstorm of NeoGaf and Twitter. Keep in mind, the whole slide is intended as a joke Sega made towards themselves for not being able to answer these questions.

So is this offensive to you or is it just a harmless joke? I personally see it as harmless and people are just shooting the messenger.

Naryoril:
I think it's funny.

Luckily my most burning questions to SEGA are not on the list:
Will there be a Valkyria Chronicles 4? Will it be back on home consoles?
What about the remake of Skies of Arcadia you teased a few years back? Or even better: A sequel?

JNiles:
Oops.  Now I'm really glad I skipped Momocon in favor of lazing around at home.

Seriously, this is kicking the hornet's nest.  By making an actual slide, they created a visual artifact that will be passed around whenever the opportunity arises.  It will never go away.

A joke like this is best done before throwing an actual bone to the intended audience.

DeviantProtagonist:
Sounds about right. Also, will Sonic 06 receive a fix patch?

:3

MetalPredat0r:
I see this whole thing as Sega of America taking a jab at themselves for staying so quiet all the time. Not only about Phantasy Star Online 2's Western Release, but even Sonic Boom! Both them AND Nintendo haven't said a THING about the game ever since it was unveiled. Maybe we can get something at E3 for both games, hence the mentions.

But I like walking on loops and breakdancing boxes into space! 3:!
