Are other songs from the Master Artist 3 albums restricted (For example "Do-dai", "Fate of the world", "Kyun! Vampire girl")?

I noticed something. Some videos say "This video contains content from columbia. It is not available in your country." A few videos I uploaded said this when I viewed them from another channel.

It also appears on Mata ne and edeN videos.

There don't seem to be any copyright strikes, it's just a bit weird.

If Columbia (As in Sony Columbia Pictures) have declared they own the content, they can dictate how and when (if at all) it can be viewed.

I assume you're in the US, so they decided that you are not allowed to show the video to anyone in the United States (or Canada).

Yeah, sadly. I posted it to let everyone on here know. Just thought it was strange since they went after old songs - Kosmos Cosmos, Meisou Mind, THE IDOLM@STER 2nd mix, etc. It doesn't seem to affect all of them. 99 Nights, Omoide wo Arigatou, 9:02pm, Machiuke Prince, DREAM, and some others are currently viewable in this region.

From what I can tell, the block applies to anyone inside NA.

I can watch all youtube content (at least as of right now) so it looks like that for whatever reason they believe that people in NA aren't their audience. I wonder how much of Europe is influenced though.

Columbia gets me so mad but i know they own the music and stuff but they had to block it outside of japan like its stupid why they do that

Just bear in mind this is a notice in regards with known blocks/bans on youtube as well as other sites.

As much as we'd like to discuss the reasons behind them, that would be best served in another section of the board (probably off topic) just to keep clutter down.

I can view all im@s content just fine, I didn't find any video till now which doesn't work for me
I am located in Austria, Europe. So for europe, the videos are just fine ^^

But guys if you want to watch them and are using firefox  just use ProxMate.
It is a pretty decent unblocking programm which I use to watch NA videos which are blockt in europe.
