Thank you very much!
But I don't have an opportunity to upload the videos to a video hosting site. Why is it necessary?
Because I'm not going to do it, and I'm making that the cost of doing so.
I have my reasons for closing and not reopening my youtube channel, and you may discover that it's more work than you think it is. Or maybe you find out it's easy, and you can get in on it too, and I can give you advice on how to make a good channel (Or one better than the one I ran anyway). I either get more appreciation and understanding for the work done, or I get a replacement.
Nothing's free, and frankly, you have a bargain, since I really SHOULD be billing per video due to the time spent to make it. You don't have to do (or pay for) any of the technical work, running costs, sunk costs or anything of the sort.
All you need to do is open an account somewhere, get onto their web interface, select the file, punch in a few things (description, category and the rest of it), and hit the upload button then wait until it's done. The files will work as is.
If you don't want to upload them, you can pay me the required time rates and I'll do the entire process for you. Because this is volunteer work, I will offer a 65% discount, and charge minimum wage at AUD $16 per hour (By Australian law, I must invoice billable hours at the minimum wage, because taxes and awards). Each video takes an hour and thirty minutes to produce for you.
I figured offering an alternative may be more reasonable than charging you.
You DID ask for them, and the world deserves to see what you asked for, right, and I'm not asking for ownership. I'm just asking you to put in a little time, and take responsibility for your requests, and to let other people know they can ask as well, because I'm happy to work for a lot of people when I have the time. Unless you want me to do work exclusively for you, in which case, I'd have to bill you for the work and resulting rights.
