Hey all.
Most of you probably don't remember me, but I'm Liz, I'm 20 years old, and Chihaya is still my fave.
I just thought I'd make a post saying I'm back, and I'll be somewhat active in the forums so long as I keep schoolwork and life things together.
When I made this account, I was in a pretty bad place. At the time, I didn't want to admit it to anyone, but I was skipping classes, laying in bed all day, and just in a deep, deep state of depression. But coming here made me realize that I could still get enjoyment out of the things I used to love. I think joining this forum was a turning point in the midst of all the crap that was going on. It was small, and didn't make a huge difference initially, but it was a turning point nonetheless.
Now, I'm withdrawn from day classes, but I have a day job in the field I want to work in and I'm taking a couple of night classes too. I'm currently playing Starlight Stage (without whaling as hard as some others) and I just purchased One For All.
I never actually finished the M@D I was working on (I'm terrible at finishing things anyway)...but one day I'll get back to it.
To the new users I haven't met yet, I hope to get to know you better. And for the old acquaintances, I hope to get to know you all a bit better...once again. :)
also I'm dating heattokun now...who knew? lol

Congrats on defeating depression! I've struggled with depression in the past, too, so I know what it's like. One thing I learned from it is that you have keep going even though you don't feel ready.
Anyway, welcome back. :)

I never welcomed you before, so I'll just pretend you're a new member and say what I usually say to new people. Glad you're doing okay. Depression is difficult to control, but it helps to keep talking with people that you trust.

I know I don't need to say much, but I'll still say it anyways since I never welcomed you before.
Did you watch all of the 2011 anime? (You said before you watched a few episodes.) If not, then I recommend watching it all since that's how many of us started Im@s. If yes, then play One for All once you have time. You can watch youtube story videos for Idolm@ster 2 (I think you may have already done this) if you don't feel like playing it on the PS3.
At the same time, check out other im@s stuff such as the music albums, mangas, dramas, movie, OVA, etc if you feel like exploring more. We also have a wiki here, so check that out to read articles about everything for im@s franchise.
Obviously, take your time and relax. Seems like you got a new routine to follow.

EDIT: Nevermind. I think I figured it out. I'll admit I initially thought you were talking about an anime character.
