2048 is a fun little puzzle game to occupy ones' time.



Check it out yourself since the description isn't quite engaging itself.

The game uses the arrow keys to move tiles left, right, up, and down. If two tiles of the same number collide while moving, they will merge into a tile with the total value of the two tiles that collided. Every turn, a new tile will randomly appear in an empty spot on the board with a value of either 2 or 4.

The game is won when a tile with a value of 2048 appears on the board, hence the name of the game.

Highest tile I've gotten to is 1024 -- I only needed to double that to win. Try your luck! :3

OK, this is immensely fun. Just started playing and I'm already hooked. I love puzzle games.
So far my highest is one-hundred-something. Best keep working on it.

Yeah, the game does have you pluck away at it easily. :3

A good tip is that one could mash up-left/up-right for the first moves to get some big numbers going without putting your game at risk, and then take it calmly from there.

Sorry for necroposting, but this:



deserves some recognition.

When I first posted here, my highest score was 200-something. About a year later, I'm up to 15,000-something as of today.
I love puzzle games, so I'm glad I've managed to get so much better! It's encouraging. I definitely recommend this game to you if you're bored.

Tried this version before?

I've mostly messed with the character versions so I don't know how far I'd get beyond the 2048 block.

I have now. XD

Here's a guide to which character represents which number:

Yayoi=2
Mami=4
Miki=8
Hibiki=16
Yukiho=32
Iori=64
Ami=128
Haruka=256
Makoto=512

That's as far as I've managed to get so far, so I don't know the rest. It looks like you have Ai there, so maybe Chihaya=1024, Ai=2048?

I personally prefer the original just because it's a lot easier to keep track of. All the moving sprites in the iM@S version really make it difficult to see what I have.
