iDOLM@STER Theories Thread!

I decided to make a topic about the multiple different theories and speculation people can come up with in terms of the iDOLM@STER series. The only rule is that you have to give a proper explanation for it. Here's mine:

The iDOLM@STER and Tekken share a universe!

This one came up when I was thinking. Perhaps two of Namco's biggest franchises coexist with one another. Of course, one would immediately think of Heihachi Mishima's recurring appearances in Puchim@s, but that's a spin-off series, so we're not covering that.

This theory leans a bit closer to canon. First off, this is Noriko Fukuda, a character from Million Live.

As you can see, Noriko is wearing a green shirt that says "Tekken" with a picture of Mokujin on it. That confirms that Tekken does at least exist in The iDOLM@STER Universe. Theory done, right? Hold on, this only confirms that it exists. We're talking about Tekken and iM@S occurring in the same universe. Let's take a look at one of Noriko's Rare Form cards.

In this card, Noriko is cheering on what looks to be some sort of wrestling match. However, look closer to the right of the card's picture and take a good look at what that leg is.

Hmmm..... Kinda looks like a certain Tiger Mask expy, no?

Yup, that leg is actually the leg of King from the Tekken series. King II to be exact. Now some may say that ML is also a spin-off and doesn't count. That may be the case when the game was released, but take a look at who appears in the recent iM@S Movie.

Looks like Kana Yabuki, Minako Satake, Nao Yokoyama, Yuriko Nanao, Shiho Kitazawa, Anna Mochizuki, and Serika Hakozaki, all of whom are characters from Million Live, in the movie based on the anime, which can easily be considered canon due to how many times the games take cues from the anime.

So there ya have it. Turns out both 765Pro and the Mishima Zaibatsu exist in the same place at the same time. This makes it rather believable that during the next 765Pro All-Star Live Concert, the next King of the Iron Fist Tournament could  occur at around the exact same time. But it's just a theory, so take it with a grain of salt.

I wanna see what everyone else can come up with and why they think so. Happy theorizing!

Quick question: Have you been watching Crossover in The Game Thorists? Because either I've spent too much time there, or you totally sound like those guys there.

Anyway, nice find. That got me interested in making my own theories, but I guess I'll post that in another time, after a bit more research.

I wasn't thinking about it, but now that you mention it, it kinda does resemble Crossover.

With that in mind, I can prove that it IS logical for Sonic and Hibiki to meet thanks to Hatsune Miku's appearance in iM@S 2.
