The unit, New Wave, in terms of physical appearance, is based on Dearly Stars.



Personally, I don't really wanna see Ryo in Side M even if he is the original male idol.

So that makes 14 units and 43 idols total. A nice even number, but I hope that this the last of these new characters because I'm getting a bit sick of the new characters from CGs and SideM has enough roster as it is (not a fan that a lot of them are expies, design wise =/). Though that means that we're to get 2 CDs per wave if it's only just those three added.

Oh yeah, interesting backstory for Beit.

Minori: The idol fanboy. His uncle (I believe, got that from jpwikipedia) was murdered by a gang of men which all of them were turned out to be idols. After that, Minori puts his uncle's idol magazines featuring him in boxes and look at the picture of said uncle, wondering what he thinks of idols and wants to find out the answer by becoming an idol.
Kyoji: His father called him a failure when he saw the rejection letter. He ran to his bedroom, packing up his belongings and his brother showed up, calling him a loser for running away from his well-established family as he blocked Kyoji's punch with his hand. Afterwards, Kyoji swores that he'll succeed without his family's name.

Agreed. I honestly hate the concept of Cinderella Girls constantly adding new characters, as it doesn't give them the opportunity to flesh out the ones they already have. This is why I largely prefer Million Live's cast as a whole because its static and it gives everyone a chance to become more fleshed out. I do hope these are the only new additions and after that, they focus on fleshing out the boys we have because Side M has potential and the boys are certainly growing on me as characters.

Holy crap, that's depressing! It actually helps Pierre stick out as the light at the end of the tunnel for the unit. Makes their dynamic work better as a whole, imo.

Yeah I also hope that they don't add more idols after these ones. And luckily Cinderlla Girls stopped making new characters a long while ago. I have to say that I like the three games (I have to confess that I haven't played none of them because I don't know Japanese and I doubt that my mobile would have enough space for them xddd), mainly for the characters (many of them are pretty interesting for me). But yeah Cinderella Girls had the issue of having too many characters, that's why I always try to focus on the ones that are voiced for the moment, or I would turn crazy

But the new unit looked nice (at least for what I saw from that shadow image xddd)

I wonder which two units will be the next ones to have their CD Debut (crossing fingers for FRAME, I wanna hear Seiji ^^)

People are spreading interesting rumors that they could be the SideM siblings jumping the bandwagon.


According to this Japanese twitter post I found, this is a list of all the siblings the SideM idols had. (Tsubasa's little brother aside...)

Kaoru -> an elder sister
Hideo -> 2 elder sisters, 2 little brothers, and a younger sister
Seiji -> (seldom mentions his siblings?) At least, we know he has a niece.
Shiki -> an elder sister
Hayato -> an older brother
Rei -> an elder sister
Shouta -> 2 elder sisters
Hokuto -> a little sister
Yusuke -> a younger brother (That would be Kyosuke)
Kyosuke -> an elder brother (That would be Yusuke)
Shiro -> an older brother
Kanon -> a younger sister

I don't know what to think of this mysterious trio idol unit. But from what I know and my Japanese friend who has been leaking this info, they plan to reveal who they are next week.
