Here are the sketches I mentioned on the Minami pic. Really, I did these to test out a few things.
I drew these sketches of Eri and Shiho to show what I'm going to try and implement with my drawings.
I decided to add more detail to the eyes and pay as close attention to the eyes' overall official design to draw it as accurately as possible. If need be, I will change around the eye designs in order to prevent characters from looking too similar. In addition, I will draw pupils from about the top of the eyelid to the bottom rather than from bottom to top. Doing this will allow for the eyes to not only be more accurate to the characters, but also allow more freedom of movement without making them seem awkward.
In addition, I paid close attention to anatomy, particularly with the shoulders. Given that these characters are female, I did my best to make sure their shoulders are not too broad, otherwise their shoulders will look oddly masculine. I gave Eri slightly broader shoulders due to the uniform she wears. I may need to work on waist a little bit. Breast size was also paid attention to as to keep close to how the characters look in-canon.
