Sweet, new art! Let's see... I look at the rest and I found a couple of things to improve. The first things are the eyes. Try to differentiate them because they all look the same. If you look at the official art, everyone's eye shapes (besides the twins) are shaped differently. By doing so, it gives the character more personality than just the eyebrows + mouth. The rest are proportions. The head should be slightly smaller than the body area including the waist and hips. The hips + the crouch area are a bit too high and for some, too small. Also be aware the the heights of these characters because a couple like Nana, Akane, Yuko, and Sae are smaller than you drew them to be. I hope this advice helps you on your artwork and I'll be looking forward to them.

I actually look at everyone's eye shapes from official art and I try to follow them as accurately as possible. I guess if they all look alike, I'm not doing my job well enough. I DO need to try harder with that.

Maybe I should try doing skeleton models first for more major drawings. It could help with how everything should be proportioned.

Height has never been a strong point. I guess you can say I purposefully made everyone on equal heights to further display their attires and I may as well handwave it with "Some of them are on stools". But yeah, I see where you're coming from.

By the way, this picture is great! I like Kirari even though I don't like Kirari!   Even though you don't colour your drawings, I still can tell who is who!

Yeah, it's XI. Jenet and Shion are ONLY in XI so far. Although the end of XIII's Story Mode hints at Shion's return.

I discovered KOF via Cacpom vs SNK 2 and loving how the SNK characters looked and played. Then I ended up gettin 98UM on the 360 and the rest is history.

I've yet to play Neowave, though that's only because its Xbox-exclusive in the US. PS2 Version is only in Japan and Europe and the PS2 is NOT import-friendly! I wanna play as May Lee again! X(!!!

I'm only used to 94 Kyo and Flames Iori because they play similar to Street Fighter characters Ryu and Ken. X)!

Yes, Smash 3DS is going to have online multiplayer. Although, Friend Codes are no longer a thing. Though you can Personal Message me your Nintendo Network ID here so I can add you on my Friends list.

Well, I'm not 100% certain on that. I could be wrong. I know Nintendo COMPLETELY got rid of Friend Codes when going from the Wii to the Wii U, so I think current 3DS updates changed that? Somebody please correct me on that.

Mobile Showdown is cancelled, however there are still remnants that I have of the topic that were never released until now: SPRITES! Well, sprite art, not exactly actual sprites. I don't know how to do that.

Also, be forewarned, these are old drawings and may be rough around the edges, but they get the job done. Also, nearly every character has their pose taken from another game. Let's get started!


Yuki Himekawa from Cinderella Girls and Shiho Kitazawa from Million Live. Shiho's base pose is Naoto Shirogane from Persona 4 Arena while Yuki's was made via looking at baseball poses. This version of Shiho will be in Dragon's Destiny, however don't think Yuki is gonna get completely scrapped. 


Mayu Sakuma from Cinderella Girls and Kotoha Tanaka from Million Live. Mayu's base sprite is Sho Minazuki and Kotoha's sprite is based on Mitsuru Kirijo, both from Persona 4 Arena/Ultimax. Like Yuki, I wouldn't count these two out yet. Actually, that can be said of everyone featured here.


Karen Shinomiya from Million Live. Karen's base sprite is Rogue from X-Men vs Street Fighter. This one is lone because next to her was an unfinished sprite of Karen Hojo that might never get finished. Oh well, maybe I'll upload it if enough people want me to finish it.


Nao Kamiya and Minami Nitta, both from Cinderella Girls. Nao's base sprite is Kanji Tatsumi and Minami's base sprite is Labrys, both from Persona 4 Arena. Yes, I can imagine Nao fighting with a folding chair like she's in the WWE or something! 


Noriko Fukuda and Subaru Nagayoshi, both from Million Live. Noriko's base sprite is Heavy D! from The King of Fighters '98 while Subaru's sprite is based on Yu Narukami from Persona 4 Arena. Subaru's outfit here looks like NESTS Saga Kyo Kusanagi, so I should probably change that.
