Fan Game Idea (The Idolm@ster Wrestle for You!)
MetalPredat0r:
Stamina
Unlike games such as Street Fighter or Super Smash Bros., you are limited to how many times you use your special moves, as they cost stamina. When you run out of stamina completely, your special moves are completely inactive and your character's attacks will weaken. However, by holding down RT/R2/ZR, you can charge your stamina DBZ-style. Hibiki, as pictured below, is in a zero stamina state.
Battle Damage
An aesthetic detail, the more of a beating the character takes, the more they'll show it. Characters will have bruises, cuts, torn clothes, sweat, tears, and blood coming out to indicate how much they've been beaten up, as Hibiki pictured below has a black eye, her top and jeans torn up a little (with her jeans even hanging down a little to show a thong), and blood coming from her mouth. However, you can toggle this feature at the Otions Menu by turning the Violence level from High (normal shown damage rate), Medium (minimal shown damage rate), and Low (characters will not show damage during a match.)

Sorry for the lack of character posts. At the very least I'm giving more info on how the game will play in addition to who's in it. I will have the next character up tomorrow and she is one of my personal favorite additions. ;D
Amazing_Grace:
I'm quite content with learning about gameplay :P
Good job with this so far, though!
I still want it to exist.

(-WARNING! CHALLENGER APPROACHING!-)
Karen Shinomiya
Age: 16
Height: 159cm
Weight: 48kg
Birthday: August 27th
Blood Type: AB
Three Sizes: 90-59-90
Alignment: Tweener
Default Tag Partner: Arisa
-Karen, in arcade mode, was dragged in by Arisa due to the latter not having a partner. She's essentially forced to wrestle. Karen DOES appear in story mode as somebody who challenges Takane, but is beaten to a pulp as a result.
-Her moveset consists of famous dance techniques in conjunction with wrestling maneuvers.
-Her finisher, Please Don't Let It Be Me!, has her take out a chair, only for the opponent to take it and hit her with it. Karen gets back up and manages to trip her opponent as well as make the chair hit them.
-Karen is a Fighting Clown character. Her moveset looks rather goofy, but she's still a formidable fighter in the ring. She is a middleweight character with decent attributes all around.
(Gush Time: OMG I LOVE YOU, KAREN! YOU SO BEAUTIFUL! As you can tell, Karen gets my vote for best ML girl.)

(I almost forgot there was a management mode. Better start talking about that.)
MANAGEMENT MODE
This mode, for those not satisfied with Story or Versus, exists to show the fact that this IS The iDOLM@STER, after all. Remember Wrestle Angels? Kinda like that with an iM@S twist.
Who are you?
You are a manager at the JWSF who works for Tanaka, the JWSF's President and her daughter, Melissa, who serves as VP, Announcer, Tutorial Guide, and playable character on occasion. Tanaka will be a black silhouette like Takagi, Ishikawa, and Kuroi while Melissa will be perfectly visible. Melissa will help you in managing the girls as they make it to the top.
Who will you manage?
Why, the original 14 girls of 765Pro, of course! The big thing about this is that both Yayoi and Kotori, who were NPCs in the Story Mode, are playable and manageable in Management Mode. This also marks the first time where Kotori can be managed in any game ever. Also, unlike Story and Versus, character alignments do not matter and the girls act more like their regular everyday selves, while Story Mode has them following a script.
Your Objective?
Make sure your girl becomes the JWSF Champion in the span of 52 weeks. Doing so will earn you the best ending and an unlockable "Japanese Circuit Champion" costume for that specific girl.
Your Obstacles?
Normally, you go into battle against the other girls you haven't picked in the tournament. Occasionally, there will be rival battles against an idol from 876Pro, Cinderella Girls, or Million Live. Another obstacle is your idol's affection. Win enough matches and she will be happy for you and treat you very kindly. Lose too many matches, and the idol will either doubt, be afraid of, or even flat-out hate you. Another major obstacle is injuries. If your idol either takes too much damage in a match or loses a specific way, she will be injured and thus cannot wrestle for a week. You CAN choose a substitute, but the bonuses you gain will not be as rewarding as those with your actual wrestler. Those bonuses DO transfer to your actual wrestler, though.
How's this gonna end?
The type of ending you gain will depend on your wrestler's affection, popularity, and overall stats in matches. Getting the best possible ending in the entire game requires your wrestler have won the JWSF Championship Belt, at least 85% popularity, Positive Affection towards you, and have her Win-Loss Ratio be 90% Wins at least.
Leave your thoughts on what you think of management mode. More details to come soon.
