Fan Game Idea (The Idolm@ster Wrestle for You!)

<< < (35/42) > >>

MetalPredat0r:
A little bit of "promotional art" (for a game that isn't real yet. :P) for Wreslte For You CLIMAX!! which shows that Aazusa has indeed switched sides and is partnered up with Chihaya. Chihaya only has two reasons as to why this MIGHT not end so well.......

(This was a long time when it came to finishing this, mainly due to procrastination. :P. I had this drawing made around the time I announced CLIMAX!! and just finished it today. :P Sorry bout that.)

MetalPredat0r:
This more of a possible concept rather than confirmation due to me not knowing how much this can fit into the actual game. Maybe this can be saved for a full sequel.

Not impressed with the characters in this game? Wish you could have such and such in the ring that isn't from iM@S? Ever wanted to get into the ring yourself? Well you can with.......

CREATE-AN-IDOL MODE

Yup! Complete Character Customization! You can customize your girl's outfit, design, moveset, voice, just about anything involving her! With multiple options to choose from as well as more to unlock when playing the game. Build your character from the ground-up with a variety of choices for height, weight, and physical appearance. Then give her a moveset from the pool of just about every single special move from the game from every character. Then, you can even customize how she sounds. Over a dozen different voice packs are available for multiple personalities including: Cocky, Gentle, Shy, Upbeat, Cutesy, Cynical, Stoic, and even Kitten! This included with various sound editing to make her sound the way you want her to.

Why stop at making yourself? You can customize the character to resemble your own original characters! Or even add some other anime/manga/video game characters into the mix! Hell, celebrities can even be made for the game! The amount of possibilities with customization is nearly endless!

(So should this be in CLIMAX!! or should it be saved for a possible Wrestle For You 2?)

MetalPredat0r:
What's a modern-day fighting game (or any game that involves excessive beating the crap out of opponents in multiplayer) without some online capabilities and sure enough, Wrestle for You will have plenty of online-related content. In terms of netcode, if this game ever gets made, I wish for the netcode to run off of GGPO, which is the same netcode server as Darkstalkers Resurrection, Marvel vs Capcom Origins, and Skullgirls.

REPLAY CHANNEL

Wrestle for You will allow you to record both offline and online matches so that you can view them at your leisure. However, the maximum time for the game to save a replay is 10 minutes. It cannot save matches that are longer than that time. You can also download replays from other players from the game's replay channel as a way of analyzing the playstyles of other people and try to improve your own skills. Also, you can take your replays and upload them to YouTube (as long as you have a Google account) and even Miiverse (only on the Wii U version)! While watching a replay, you can pause, fast-forward, rewind, and even skip through the video to further help in analyzing how others play the game.

RANKED MATCHES

As with many other fighting games, Ranked Matches are those that count toward your overall ranking compared to the rest of the world. You can either join some other player or create a match and fight. However, certain elements of the game such as items and custom characters cannot be used in Ranked Matches.

PLAYER MATCHES

Player Matches are essentially the game's offline versus mode, but with online capabilities. You can create lobbies of up to 16 players on online lobby mode. You can even invite a friend over to play the game online. What I would like to do for the game (if able to) is have a feature that allows people to play the game online via invite even if they do not own the game themselves. They would probably be limited to the idols of 765Pro, 876Pro, and Miku, but its still something. I want to do this as I thought that FarCry 4, which is gonna have that exact feature, really impressed me with that at E3 this year. Also, except for in online lobbies and unlike ranked matches, you can rematch with your opponent however many times you want.

JAIL

As a method of handling people who disconnect too often during an online match (i.e. ragequitters), there is a special punishment for them. A feature used in Killer Instinct for the Xbox One, players with a higher disconnect-to-complete match ratio of 55% or higher, will be sent to Jail. Jail has them only find matches with other people in jail for 24 hours. Once the 24 hours are up, they will be allowed to match with anyone again unless they keep up this high rate. Then they will be sent back to Jail for an extra 24 hours in addition to the standard 24 hours. You can have up to five jail sentences for the maximum limit to be in Jail, meaning the maximum time one can be sentenced to Jail is 120 Hours.

I hope you enjoy these Online Modes.

Since I'm too lazy to quote everything, I'll just say I'm loving this to death.

I don't know if it'll really help, but I have discovered a program that lets you make your own fighting game with unique moves and unique characters, called EF-12. I think it costs $1.00 to the the full version, but hey, that's still really cheap!

Can you send a link? Cuz I wanna know if it supports use for a 3D Fighter. Plus, I am taking a one-week course on Game Art and Animation next week so I could use that to make a small little "tech demo" if I ever get the chance. Btw, I'm starting to think Create-An-Idol should be saved for a potential sequel, since this one has so many dang characters and I want the sequel to actually have a smaller roster.
