Also,heres a thought: Taking a page from Rumble Roses, why are we having just some Heels and Some Faces? I might work out heel/face versions of existing ideas after some more Punch-Out (6-0-0 record on a new game, going against Great Tiger!)

A small update. This concept is NOT DEAD! There hasn't been any new info in a while, but this is not a dead topic. I have quite a number of characters to announce as I had just gotten done drawing some more Cinderella Girls recently.
In addition, I am now collaborating with Heattokun in terms of ideas and concepts for this if it ever becomes a real game. He even made some Minecraft skins based on the wrestling attires for some of the characters, so stay tuned whenever he is able to get to it.
I will be posting some new characters tonight. Again, this topic is not dead.

Anastasia
Age: 15

-Anastasia's story has her enter the ring as she discovers through certain forms of media (i.e. Street Fighter games) that the Russian people are depicted as big, burly, brawling, and overall tough. Anya wanted to show her Russian culture by entering a Wrestling tournament.
-Anastasia has a moveset that revolves around grapples and submissions, but with some decent attacks that cover lots of range.
-Anastasia is a Glass Cannon. She can dish out lots of damage, but can't exactly take it. In addition, she's rather slow, so she's a difficult character to master.
(Anya is a character that I knew I had to incorporate in this game somehow. So she's a referee in the original game, but playable in CLIMAX!! alongside newcomer Natalia as her partner to make the "Token Foreigners" team. Of course, Anastasia's costume is influenced by Zangief from the Street Fighter series, another Russian character in another popular game series from Japan.)

Mio Honda

-Mio's story has her join the JWSF as a great way to work up her stamina for her idol career.
-You may be wondering, "Why the hell is Mio Honda red?". Because this is to demonstrate her character unique attribute which I dub "Feel the Hot Blood". Basically, Mio has a gauge near her super meter which fills as she fights. When filled, Mio can use the gauge to enter "Hot Blood Mode" which turns her skin red and increases her strength and defense five times more than normal. However, the main drawback is that Mio's HP decreases five times than normal, meaning she goes down QUICK! Hot Blood Mio also releases a lot more blood when taking damage than normal Mio, but that does nothing gameplay-wise. In addition, Hot Blood Mode only lasts a limited time until the gauge depletes and you have to fill it up all over again.
-Mio can be classified in two different categories. Normal Mio is a girl who excels at keeping her opponent in her grasp as well as having an easy time with submissions as well as being quite quick on her feet with LOTS of HP. Hot Blood Mio is an absolute beast at everything, however her HP is horrendous and Mio goes down faster than other characters during this time period. Use Hot Blood Mode wisely.
(I like the New Generation trio and Mio is, hands-down, my favorite of these three characters. Her outfit looks superb in my eyes, but I think I may have gone a bit overboard with the red, ESPECIALLY on her face. I also added sweat to her to add on to the whole concept of her "burning up" in Hot Blood Mode.)

-Natalia's story has her joining the JWSF to learn more about Japanese culture as she discovered that Pro Wrestling is huge in Japan. Plus, she can probably use all that money to get all the Sushi she wants.
-Natalia's moveset is similar to Karen's as she combines dance moves with wrestling techniques. However, unlike Karen who graces the ring with ballet and such, Natalia uses the Brazilian-made martial art of Capoeira, which is a combination of dance and martial arts. -Natalia is a character who excels at mobility, but does not do much in terms of damage.
(Ah, Natalia. My all-time favorite Cinderella Girl and it still irks me that she does not have a voice yet! GAAAH! 3X! Anyway, I decided to add much bronze jewelry to Natalia's wrestling costume due to her fascination with Arabic culture, although her character in Wrestle For You CLIMAX!! in terms of moveset and attributes will harken back to her Brazilian roots. Also, Natalia's hair was a STRUGGLE to color. I couldn't truly decide whether her hair was black or a really dark green, so I colored it both and blended the HECK out of em with a colorless blender. The end result is the best I could do and I am very proud of it!)
