Right, she's the one! I remembered what she looked like because legit, she's like the spitting image of a character I invented like, a year ago, before I ever even knew Cinderella Girls existed. I couldn't remember her name. But I can totally understand what you're talking about. There comes a time when it's just way too much. I mean, girls can have a large bust without making it a point of fanservice at every opportunity. That's why I hate looking up certain characters on a Google image search.

Aime's pretty much into all anime. But magical girl is her favorite. So they could still chat about mecha. ASURA CRYIN' WATCH PARTY.

It's weird, because I've never watched an anime with a boy that used feminine pronouns (unless the boy was a trap), but I've heard of characters that do, and whenever America includes boys speaking in random Japanese, they use feminine pronouns. Maybe I just don't watch enough anime.

I still want to see them drawn. XD I like the inspiration you thought of for all of them, though. Is 573Pro supposed to be kinda like the Fanservice Agency, or did you just kinda like the idea of, say, a Vegas showgirl, but you aren't going to actually get into the fanservice-y aspects of it?

Yeah, she's the one. Ai. I don't have a Vita, though, which is a huge problem. I have a PSP, but I don't plan on getting the Vita until my PSP crashes or breaks or something. Which means I can't get the game anyways. Darn.

I figured you wouldn't, but I figured I'd say something just in case. I can agree that they could relate to each other.

I include a lot of self-inserts in my stories. Grace/Me just kinda appears from out of nowhere and says something. Usually something stupid. But I've never explicitly put myself in a story as a main character.

I've never been to other parts of the world (sob ;-;) so all I know is what I learn from people who have. So I didn't realize French people (for instance) were as boy-crazy as Americans. XD

You're very welcome! :D You should be proud of your style. I like it. Even though it's chibi-ish, it's still realistic...ish?
Man, I suck with words...XD
What I mean is, while sometimes chibi artists pay little attention to anatomy and make their characters kinda flat, the way you draw, I'm able to pick out the anatomy of girls vs boys. Hopefully that makes a little more sense.

By the way, Uane does look like Ariko Takarano.

Does she? ...huh, now that I look between the two, aside from their hair colors they do look kinda similar. Haha, yeah, Uane is kinda a mix between both Chihayas. More on the Xenoglossia side due to her abrasive...ness.

Does it mean that you will let readers choose from three options, like in VNs?

Yeah, kinda like that! I'll have the Producer mull over his options ("Should I eat the sandwich? Should I offer her half and eat the other half? Or maybe, I should insist that she eat the whole thing.") and then the reader can decide what they think they would do. The same situation will be written out three different times going through a perfect communication, a normal communication, and a bad communication exploring all the different options ("I decide to eat the whole sandwich. ...oh, she's mad. Looks like she wanted me to share.") The reader can scroll through the three different communications to find the one where the Producer chooses the option they would choose. It will require some back-and-forth on the part of the reader and a lot of work on my part, but I'm going to do it.

Did that make sense?

Xenoglossia changed our lives. Get use to it. 8)

It really did. XDD I hate that show. But I love it at the same time.

I have meant non-resized versions of the images. Don't worry, your art is not the worst mine is. At least, you have your own style.

I'm sure you aren't as bad as you think you are! :D One day, I'd like to see something you drew.
Oh, alright! Well, there are words and such on it, and it really doesn't look too much different, but I can send it to you in a PM. :D
And thank you. ;D

I think Ue kara Mariko by AKB48
http://www.xiami.com/song/1771185745
would be a good song for your Mariko, even despite the fact that its lyrics don't match her.
http://stage48.net/studio48/uekaramariko.html

I'll consider that, yeah~. For the most part, I think the collection of songs will be assorted songs from iM@S, but I will DEFINITELY include personal image songs for each of the girls by singers I like and maybe some other songs too. It'll be a good time.

Great, I'm glad! :D Well, just by being here and offering support, you ARE a part of the project. :) I would be really nervous about taking it on if all of you didn't keep showing your support for the characters and the project in general. :3

I'm going to hold you to that. ;D

Ahaha, maybe not COMPLETELY, but Byakura enters Admiration Mode EXTREME whenever Chihaya is mentioned. From "P-please help me succeed, P-Producer-san..." to "Chihaya-san is so wonderful! Her performances on-stage make people so happy...one day, I'd like to bring that kind of emotion to my performances! P-please assist me, Producer-san~!"

Ah, also, Namuko Academy fanarts are being posted! :D

Just finished a list of songs specific to each character. Not *exactly* image songs or character songs, rather just special songs the girls sing sometimes. While most of the songs are original iM@S songs from various games (Kenchi gets to sing Jupiter songs occasionally since he's a dude and can't very well sing songs like "Watashi wa Idol" without it being weird), the characters each have one or two songs specific to them that they sing on special occasions or when going against 765 Pro in a festival.

Some songs are original songs by the chosen voice actress(/actor, if Ed Sheeran even counts XD) of the characters, some are anime openings/endings I liked and wanted them to sing, some of them are character songs of anime characters, and some of them are Vocaloid songs or Touhou Project songs or something like that.

I tried to include at least one song sung by the characters chosen voice actor so you can kinda have something to go off of.

Fuyu: Kanashikute Yarikirenai (KOKIA) and Siuil A Run (KOKIA)
Enra: Dunbine Tobu (MIO) and Katachi Aru Mono (Shibasaki Kou)
Byakura: Honoo no Katachi (Horie Yui) and Melody (Hanazawa Kana)
Kenchi: Shangri-La (Acid Black Cherry--if you imagined this guy singing with a bit more breath in his voice, he'd sound a lot like how I want Kenchi to) and GLIDE (Vocaloid)
Haru: Noble Heart (Yukana) and Hanabi (Hara Yumi feat. Imai Asami)
Soumin: Destiny (Kitamura Eri) and Hana (Kitamura Eri)
Aime: Friends (Otsuka Ai) and Daisuki Dayo (Otsuka Ai)
Hiromi: Dear You (Yuduki) and Bad Apple!! (Vocaloid)
Uane: Datengoku Sensen (ALI PROJECT) and Wakare ~Aisuru monotachi e~ (Sodou Mayumi)
Koko: Baby Baby Love (Tomatsu Haruka) and World is Mine (Vocaloid)
Guru: PONPONPON (Kyary Pamyu Pamyu) and Kaerimichi (Kato Emiri)
Benima: Houseki (Inoue Marina) and Ballad (Inoue Marina)
Chiharu: staple stable (Saito Chiwa) and Rise (Origa)
Mariko: Fly High (Tanaka Rie) and Meltdown (Vocaloid)
Ruka: Platinum Disco (Iguchi Yuka) and Renai Circulation (Hanazawa Kana)
Neku: Magic of Love (Perfume) and PoPiPo (Vocaloid)
Natsuki: Le Cirque de Sept Couleurs (Norano Neko) and Sakura (Gakari Ikimono)
Yori: Aitai (Uemura Kana) and Miracle (Uemura Kana)
Nami: Utakata Hanabi (supercell) and Aqua Terrarium (Yanagi Nagi)
Natsu: Fight o Fight (Kobayashi Yuu) or MISS UNIVERSE (S) (Kobayashi Yuu)

Update!:

Switched Fuyu,  Byakura, and Haru to Visual and Ruka, Chiharu, and Kenchi to Dance to provide a bit more of a balance (upon ZetaFlare's suggestion--thanks!). Also switched Guru's preferred voice actress from Saito Momoko to Kato Emiri. To go with this change, I changed Guru's special songs to Kaerimichi and PONPONPON, then gave Neku PoPiPo. So, yeah! A couple edits!

That's a good move, especially if you're considering "gameplay." A unit that is able to appeal well to each end of the spectrum will fare much better in auditions, festivals, etc.

I actually thought Neku's song would actually be something cat-themed like Nekomimi Switch.

Why???

The more I listened to Kaerimichi (Emiri Kato voiced Hachikuji in Bakemonogatari), the more I realized her voice was closer to the one I wanted for Guru than Momoko Saito's was. So I made the switch. :)

That's a good move, especially if you're considering "gameplay." A unit that is able to appeal well to each end of the spectrum will fare much better in auditions, festivals, etc.

I actually have no idea if units are going to be involved in this or not, unless I specify a certain unit that exists (like Ryuuguu Komachi, for instance--the player doesn't get to decide who's in that). Because if I left it reader's choice, that'd make it AT LEAST ten times harder for me to write. I'd have to write routes for every possible combination. And there's 20 idols. I don't think I have the patience for that. XD

I haven't heard many cat-themed songs, actually. I mostly listen to singers like Kana Uemura, Eri Kitamura, and KOKIA, who have serious songs and don't sing very cute things, so they don't have cat songs. If I watched more anime or listened to more Vocaloid or played Dream C Club I'd probably have been able to think of one. So, for now, Neku's going to keep her songs the way they are. :)

Enra: Dunbine Tobu (MIO) and Katachi Aru Mono (Shibasaki Kou)
Byakura: Sugar Sweet Nightmare (Horie Yui) and Melody (Hanazawa Kana)

Don't you think that Dunbine tobu is a bit extremal? I don't think Enra is concerned about fighting so much. I have alternatives (don't worry, those are songs by Kaori Shimizu).

Kokoro no michi:

http://www.xiami.com/song/1770816135

Dragon no hane:

http://www.xiami.com/song/1771871629

Katachi aru mono is the song that Takane covered.. it's getting interesting. ;)

I think Hikari,

http://www.xiami.com/song/1769154386

and Dear...

http://www.xiami.com/song/1769004724

by Yui Horie would match her better.

Uane: Datengoku Sensen (ALI PROJECT) or Kanashimi wo Mukou He (Itou Kanako)

I have found a song called Takarajima by Ali project:

http://www.xiami.com/song/1770172785

It's a discrepant song, just like Chihaya-Master Uane.

I would also recommend Kioku no kusari by Aira Yuuki:

http://www.xiami.com/song/1769776028
http://suisei.kokidokom.net/2008/10/03/yuuki-aira-kioku-no-kusari-lyrics-translation/

No units please, I prefer solos. ;)

Honestly, I didn't choose the songs based on the lyrics, but rather how they sound. The way that the songs sound (and how the people sound when singing them) is what I focused on. :) The reason I chose Dunbine Tobu as opposed to anything else was because Kaori Shimizu sounded the most like how I wanted Enra to sound. :) And Katachi Aru Mono, I chose to appeal to the side of Enra that still really appreciates softer music.

I'm planning on adding a couple songs to the list and switching Byakura's Yui Horie song from Sugar Sweet Nightmare to Honoo no Katachi. :3

I've heard that one, yeah. But I think I'll keep Uane's songs the way they are--Datengoku no Sensen has a lot of difficult intervals and tempo changes that really show off Arika Takarano's singing prowess and appeals to the part of Uane that wants to show off to everyone. And Kanashimi wo Mukou He is just pretty. XD

I plan to keep solos. :3 There might or might not end up being a little unit that branches off from the main group consisting of Kenchi, Yori, and Fuyu, inspired by a video I saw of KOKIA singing Kanashikute Yarikirenai with Kana Uemura and two other male singers I don't know the name of.
But there's no way I can write out all the different combinations of reader-chosen units. XD

Another update!:

Went back and gave everyone two songs. Haru has Hanabi by Yumi Hara now, Ruka has Renai Circulation, Koko got Overfly by Haruna Luna, and Hiromi has Tsumetai Heya, Hitori by Takahashi Mikako. Also, I switched one of Kenchi's from Closer to GLIDE. Because GLIDE sounds awesome when guys sing it. And Byakura's been switched from Sugar Sweet Nightmare to Honoo no Katachi. Not only do I adore that song, but I think Yui Horie's voice sounds a biiit more like Byakura in that song than in Sugar Sweet Nightmare. You know?
Also switched one of Chiharu's songs from LAMENT ~Yagate Yorokobi o~ to Rise.

Added a fun fact to Soumin. She now uses a Korean honorific ("-ssi") to address people.

Annnyways. Lots of edits in the works, yeah. Also, now, in addition to the prologue and your meeting with Fuyu, I'm in the midst of writing out the first meeting of the All-Stars and 765 Pro.

Finished the girls' first meeting with 765 Pro. This will take place after you meet the All-Stars in the actual book (after all the meetings if it's all in one book, and after each individual meeting in each separate book if they are separate books). Now working on a communication with Kenchi where you get to learn more about him, and then I'll be working on a lesson, probably with either Enra or Neku since people seem to like those two.

Might post a poll somewhere where people can vote on how they want it written. Because I still need help.
