Now for a lowdown on each character's Stats. Support refers to Support Rank. As the idol bonds with her partners, she grants stat bonuses. Strategies can be pretty important in selecting your units because, like in iM@S2, you're locked into producing a 3-idol unit during Story Mode.
Ten appeals are performed during Burst Appeals. (Vocal-Dance-Visual).

If Vocal is the current trend:
Vocal: 6
Dance: 5
Visual: 4
Character: 8
Burst Appeal: (4-3-3)
If Dance is the current trend:
Vocal: 4
Dance: 6
Visual: 5

NOTE: Miku has the largest stat growth among all the idols. She can easily go from 2 to 8 as she levels up.
