Okay, so with all these new faces appearing...
What's going on with 765Pro, 876Pro, 961Pro, and Jupiter in Neo Vision?

After 765Pro's idols swept the IA Awards and Ryūgū Komachi won the IU championship, the company rose to legendary status. Job offers and concert opportunities appeared left and right, they debuted new songs, their joint New Year's Concert was a smashing success, and even got to participate in an island resort festival. Still, several changes have been made. After the company's former producer left for Hollywood to begin his new career, President Takagi is quick to hire a new one (Broducer). He's got a tough task ahead of him, managing the careers of nine successful idols soon to be six and competing with the new national sensation NAZO. Their goal this year is to re-enter the IU and see if they can reclaim the crown they won two years ago. Their group image song this year is We Have A Dream.

Ryūgū Komachi has gotten its swagger back after defeating the team that knocked them out of the running for the IA to win last year's IU. Now they're preparing to enter the tournament again to defend their title. However, along with NAZO, a new branch unit within their own company appears to challenge them. They will continue to use SMOKY THRILL and Nana Iro Button as their primary songs.

To serve as a counter to Ryūgū Komachi, Project Fairy is reborn under 765's name. Their producer is none other than 765Pro's shy desk clerk Kotori Otonashi! Fed up with always being the one left behind, she decides to come out of her shell and become a producer herself...wishing to follow the career of her former fellow office clerk Ritsuko. Miki is appointed the leader due to bad blood between her and Iori, though she's a little distraught from having to be separated from her new "honey." In no time at all, they have achieved success and popularity greater than they ever have under 961Pro. Their goal this year is to enter the IU and take the crown away from Ryūgū Komachi so that Kotori can prove she can be just as useful and successful as Ritsuko. Their primary songs are Overmaster and Kyun! Vampire Girl.

After defecting from 961Pro, Jupiter is back and has returned to success as freelance idols until they are bought out by RyuuseiPro. Alice or Guilty and Koi wo Hajimeyou are still their primary songs. Their goal this year is to have their desired rematch against 765Pro.

At 876Pro, President Ishikawa has recently decided to debut all three idols as a unit, seeing how most of their recent success came from solo careers. Will Ai, Eri, and Ryo be able to discover the power of unity and compete at 765's level? Their group song is "HELLO!!"

Kuroi may have lost Jupiter, but he still has some tricks up his sleeve to once again wage war against 765Pro. He scouts Chiyo, Hotaru, and Karen and trains/promotes/lies to them like he did before. Their group song is Koi no Yokushiryoku Chiyo's image song. Just about two months after NAZO debuted and swept the nation, they challenge and utterly destroy 961Pro in a Festival. Yamato even torments Kuroi, mocking his company's so-called "reputation" and calling him a has-been. Surprisingly, despite 961's policies, Kuroi doesn't fire his unit, calling it sheer dumb idiot luck, losing to the new super-sensation.

Yamato is voiced by Mamoru Miyano

Yeah, I had Light Yagami in mind while picking Yamato's VA.

I don't know Himeko's VA. :)

She was Tron Bonne in Megaman Legends. Her overconfidence and that O~hohohoho laugh (her taunt in Marvel vs. Capcom) sold me.

These seem like notable evolutions for all the characters. I also like the fact that you worked the anime's Producer into this whole thing while still keeping the game's Producer in mind.

Also, I love how you and I have the same feeling that Kotori should have more recognition and screentime. Having her as a Producer works and should be the gateway to giving her actual screentime outside of tutorials and Drama CDs! :3!

Gonna pop back in and say my favorites were Setsuna, Nagisa, Jun, Asuka, Mai, Shiori, I have a lot of favorites, Yoshino, and Ryoko. And Hotaru.
Great goodness, who am I kidding, I love them all. No joke.

Looking forward to more updates if they come! And I love how you've come up with something for all the agencies we know and love to be doing while this goes on.

Expect some art updates in the future. I'm looking to redo Chiyo's casual outfit artwork as I kind of botched her hair in that one. Also, I plan to give Tamaki a different hairstyle as her ponytail looks too much like Shiori's.

Thanks! Glad you like them. I wanted 765, 876, Jupiter, and Kuroi to be involved with some of the characters. For example...

As a kid, Sakura was inspired by Haruka to become a singer. Also, during her story, Kenji calls Haruka to help give Sakura a pep talk after she almost quits her career due to fear of the gap between her and Kagura.
Momoko is heavily influenced by Miki, even wearing a wardrobe similar to hers.
Kuroi produces Chiyo, Hotaru, and Karen for a while.
Ryoko gets some tips from Makoto in how to be more girly.
Nagisa was inspired by one of Hibiki's performances.
Tamaki fangirls rabidly over Jupiter and has known Eri during her years as a net idol.

Once I get the artwork updated, I will get into the metaphysical aspects of the series including gameplay, each idol's stats, Burst Appeals, a list of songs.

I thought about Rintaro Okabe from Steins;Gate and Aoi Kaji from La cordo d'oro.

Will you write fanfictions about your characters?

I eventually will get around to fanfics, mainly regarding Story Mode events and each idol's personal Story Mode events. I will also include an origin story for Kenji and how he was selected as the producer at such a young age. However, there will also be some special interactions between the units' members to increase their Support Rank (kind of like Fire Emblem).

But seriously, I really appreciate how much thought you've put into these characters and their stories. It shows that you care about these characters. And when people care about their characters, the characters are well-rounded and lovable. And that really matters to an author-in-training like me whose favorite part of every book is the lovable characters.

Some art updates have just been made! Check back on Chiyo's bio for fixed-up casual outfit artwork, Shiori's bio for another potential image song, and Tamaki's bio for an updated hairstyle.

I added another tic for Emi. I've made a list of Emi's nicknames for the other idols.

Kenji ==> P-chan
Sakura ==> Cherry-chan (Sakura = cherry blossom)
Asuka ==> Sugar-chan (due to a mispronunciation of her name)
Miku ==> Shippai-chan (due to her constant failures) or Kin-chan (because gold is her primary color)
Jun ==> IdolSilver (a tokusatsu parody name)
Megumi ==> Naki-chan (because she cries quite a bit)
Nozomi ==> Uta-chan (because of her singing talent) or Midori-chan (because green is her primary color)
Mai ==> Odo-chan (because she loves to dance)
Momoko ==> Momo-chan (because pink is her primary color)
Reika ==> Ohime-sama (because of her regal princess-like aura)
Hikari ==> Tsun-chan (due to her tsundere nature)
Shiori ==> Shizu-chan (because she's so quiet)
Yoshino ==> Megane-chan (because of her glasses)
Hinata ==> Sunny-chan (because of her "sunny" nature)
Chiyo ==> Dori-chan (due to her hair drills)
Hotaru ==> Yasumi-chan (because she's lazy/rests all the time)
Karen ==> Ameri-chan (due to her American blood)
Setsuna ==> Kana-chan (because she's just so sad all the time)
Kotone ==> Aru-chan (because she's Chinese)
Kaori ==> Oppai-chan (because of...well, yeah.)
Ryoko ==> Guitar-chan (because she sees her playing the guitar on her spare time)
Nagisa ==> Kohaku-chan (because of her amber-colored skin)
Tamaki ==> Miko-chan (for obvious reasons)

What is it?

A Nintendo strategy RPG. You may have seen Marth, Roy, and Ike in Super Smash Bros? That's their main series.

As for Support Ranks, in Fire Emblem, if two units with high Support Ranks are next to each other, they get stat bonuses (i.e. stronger attacks). The usual way to increase Support Ranks is to make two compatible units stand next to each other as the player's turn ends. If they do this enough times, a Support conversation becomes available. Watch them bond, then their Support Rank increases.

In Neo Vision, if the idols do enough work together (i.e. lessons, auditions, lives, and festivals), the leader can unlock conversations to bond with her partners. As they bond, they can further their strengths or improve their weaknesses, boosting their ability to defend against rival appeals. For example, Momoko can chat with Megumi to improve her Visual even further or with someone like Asuka to gain some much-needed Vocal.

Okay, I'll admit it. One of Mitsuki's ideas inspired me to add Support Conversations.

I like the collection of songs involved. All the ones I know are really great songs. I like the thought of involving some Dream Club songs too. Hanbun wa Mama no Scenario is one of my personal favorites~.

edeN (Dance) Best Shiny Festa song. Period.

Why, yes. Yes it is.

I love all the Shiny Festa songs. They're great.
But edeN is still the best.

Thanks. I wanted to combine iM@S's best songs with some new ones. Most of the songs available at the start are image songs, including Hanbun wa Mama no Scenario, Yoshino's image song.

Yoshino's image song was almost Little My Star from Makai Tenshi Djibril, but one, I couldn't find a decent translation, and two, I did see one translation and feared the lyrics sounded a little too ecchi, especially for a 12-year-old. I mean, "launch your rocket into my sky?" ??? Then again, Djibril was a straight-up hentai anyway, so go figure...

I actually thought about making Reika's image song JEWEL for a while, but lyric translations were pretty scarce. I ultimately decided on Towa no Hana from Ai Yori Aoshi, mainly because flowers connect to an important part in her story.

I do plan to add some more DLC songs in the future. A few Project Diva songs to start.
