The Portal of Zeta: iDOLM@STER Neo Vision
ZetaFlare:
Okay, so with all these new faces appearing...
What's going on with 765Pro, 876Pro, 961Pro, and Jupiter in Neo Vision?
After 765Pro's idols swept the IA Awards and Ryūgū Komachi won the IU championship, the company rose to legendary status. Job offers and concert opportunities appeared left and right, they debuted new songs, their joint New Year's Concert was a smashing success, and even got to participate in an island resort festival. Still, several changes have been made. After the company's former producer left for Hollywood to begin his new career, President Takagi is quick to hire a new one (Broducer). He's got a tough task ahead of him, managing the careers of nine successful idols soon to be six and competing with the new national sensation NAZO. Their goal this year is to re-enter the IU and see if they can reclaim the crown they won two years ago. Their group image song this year is We Have A Dream.
Ryūgū Komachi has gotten its swagger back after defeating the team that knocked them out of the running for the IA to win last year's IU. Now they're preparing to enter the tournament again to defend their title. However, along with NAZO, a new branch unit within their own company appears to challenge them. They will continue to use SMOKY THRILL and Nana Iro Button as their primary songs.
To serve as a counter to Ryūgū Komachi, Project Fairy is reborn under 765's name. Their producer is none other than 765Pro's shy desk clerk Kotori Otonashi! Fed up with always being the one left behind, she decides to come out of her shell and become a producer herself...wishing to follow the career of her former fellow office clerk Ritsuko. Miki is appointed the leader due to bad blood between her and Iori, though she's a little distraught from having to be separated from her new "honey." In no time at all, they have achieved success and popularity greater than they ever have under 961Pro. Their goal this year is to enter the IU and take the crown away from Ryūgū Komachi so that Kotori can prove she can be just as useful and successful as Ritsuko. Their primary songs are Overmaster and Kyun! Vampire Girl.
After defecting from 961Pro, Jupiter is back and has returned to success as freelance idols until they are bought out by RyuuseiPro. Alice or Guilty and Koi wo Hajimeyou are still their primary songs. Their goal this year is to have their desired rematch against 765Pro.
At 876Pro, President Ishikawa has recently decided to debut all three idols as a unit, seeing how most of their recent success came from solo careers. Will Ai, Eri, and Ryo be able to discover the power of unity and compete at 765's level? Their group song is "HELLO!!"
Kuroi may have lost Jupiter, but he still has some tricks up his sleeve to once again wage war against 765Pro. He scouts Chiyo, Hotaru, and Karen and trains/promotes/lies to them like he did before. Their group song is Koi no Yokushiryoku Chiyo's image song. Just about two months after NAZO debuted and swept the nation, they challenge and utterly destroy 961Pro in a Festival. Yamato even torments Kuroi, mocking his company's so-called "reputation" and calling him a has-been. Surprisingly, despite 961's policies, Kuroi doesn't fire his unit, calling it sheer dumb idiot luck, losing to the new super-sensation.

Yeah, I had Light Yagami in mind while picking Yamato's VA.

She was Tron Bonne in Megaman Legends. Her overconfidence and that O~hohohoho laugh (her taunt in Marvel vs. Capcom) sold me.
MetalPredat0r:
These seem like notable evolutions for all the characters. I also like the fact that you worked the anime's Producer into this whole thing while still keeping the game's Producer in mind.
Also, I love how you and I have the same feeling that Kotori should have more recognition and screentime. Having her as a Producer works and should be the gateway to giving her actual screentime outside of tutorials and Drama CDs! :3!

Gonna pop back in and say my favorites were Setsuna, Nagisa, Jun, Asuka, Mai, Shiori, I have a lot of favorites, Yoshino, and Ryoko. And Hotaru.
Great goodness, who am I kidding, I love them all. No joke.
Looking forward to more updates if they come! And I love how you've come up with something for all the agencies we know and love to be doing while this goes on.

Expect some art updates in the future. I'm looking to redo Chiyo's casual outfit artwork as I kind of botched her hair in that one. Also, I plan to give Tamaki a different hairstyle as her ponytail looks too much like Shiori's.

Thanks! Glad you like them. I wanted 765, 876, Jupiter, and Kuroi to be involved with some of the characters. For example...
As a kid, Sakura was inspired by Haruka to become a singer. Also, during her story, Kenji calls Haruka to help give Sakura a pep talk after she almost quits her career due to fear of the gap between her and Kagura.
Momoko is heavily influenced by Miki, even wearing a wardrobe similar to hers.
Kuroi produces Chiyo, Hotaru, and Karen for a while.
Ryoko gets some tips from Makoto in how to be more girly.
Nagisa was inspired by one of Hibiki's performances.
Tamaki fangirls rabidly over Jupiter and has known Eri during her years as a net idol.
Once I get the artwork updated, I will get into the metaphysical aspects of the series including gameplay, each idol's stats, Burst Appeals, a list of songs.
