Then again, I could use PowerPoint to map out some stories in the style of visual novels.

It would be great! ;D

Karen Hoshikawa's Route, cont.

The other idols are glad to have their leader back. Everything runs smoothly from there. Even the gossip panels exposing Karen’s mixed blood don’t bother her. She has read these magazines before. Most of them are all full of balderdash anyway.

Karen is a little unsure about entering the IU. She knows the competition is heated up and the judges can be very strict. One false move could spell disaster. She also fears they might show bias towards non-Japanese idols. Kenji tells her not to worry at all. Now is not the time for that. Her unit could not have made it this far without her help. Not too many idols are given this opportunity, so ZetaPro might as well take a shot. Besides, what better way for Kenji to fulfill his promise than with one of Japan’s biggest idol competitions? Karen agrees and gets prepared to take on her preliminary audition with a smile and loads of energy. Unfortunately, her confidence is drenched upon realizing that her unit has been placed in the same competition block as NAZO. Himeko knows Karen has already gotten a taste of NAZO’s full power. Figuring Karen still doesn’t know when to call it quits, Himeko decides to use this opportunity to teach her that a “half-breed” like her does not deserve to be an idol. As NAZO leaves to practice, Karen notices Himeko looking a little concerned herself. Kenji is curious himself as to why, but he asks the unit to wipe away their thoughts of NAZO for the moment. Now is the time to focus on the task at hand. Karen’s performance wows the judges enough for her unit to pass, although they still place a distant second to NAZO. Himeko cannot believe the results. She knew from the start NAZO would claim the top seed, but seeing who made second makes her believe that clearly the judges were way too soft. Himeko figures Karen might have told some pathetic sob story to get the sympathy of the judges. She might have bragged how she was superior (in looks and talents) to all the full-blooded Japanese girls. Maybe she even bribed them. That’s what to expect from foreigners. Kenji has had it with Himeko’s prejudice and decides to take a stand in Karen’s defense. According to him, Karen has not done anything of the sort. It was her hard work and strong talents that allowed her to come this far. What’s better, her fans don’t seem to care whether or not she has mixed blood. Those that do judge her are really missing out. Why can’t Himeko just accept the fact that Karen is the real deal? Himeko is greatly offended. “Shut your trap, peasant! Do you have any idea who you are talking to? I don’t care what it takes…I will make you kneel before your queen!” Kenji claims he will make Himeko realize Karen’s true potential, but his words fall on deaf, bigoted ears. With a final reminder that half-Caucasians shouldn’t be idols, Himeko storms out of the audition site to find her partners. Still, Kenji and Karen feel as though Himeko is still stressed out about something.

Back at the office, Kenji notices that Karen has been blushing and staring intently at him all through the ride back. She asks to speak with him in private after everyone else leaves. Karen, feeling a little infatuated, finds it hard to tell Kenji the truth. Thinking something might have come over her, Kenji wonders what’s going on. Karen believed Kenji’s actions at the IU prelims were gallant and gentlemanlike. The way he defended her against Himeko’s insults made her feel like he was a brave prince defending his delicate princess from the spell of an evil witch. The way Kenji had always supported her throughout her idol career at ZetaPro felt like he could have been the dashing, kind male lead in all those romance stories she has read. Karen knew it! The destined one she’s been waiting for all her life was right in front of her all this time! It was not Seiya after all…it was Kenji! Kenji feels awkward and does not know what to say. He tries his best to explain, but Karen misunderstands and takes his words as a proposal! Karen has fallen in love with her producer (man, does this sound familiar)! Kenji is at a loss for words. "What in the world have I gotten myself into?"

Now Karen will sometimes act lovey-dovey and directly flirt with Kenji during some communications. If Sakura is in her unit, while she is still caring and supportive of Karen, her advancements towards Kenji are making Sakura feel a little jealous…

Once Karen reaches Rank A, she can hardly believe how many people are accepting her for the person she is. She is more than eager to show off her ever-growing abilities to NAZO, especially after ZetaPro receives their writ of challenge to appear at the Harvest Moon Festival. She is not even scared of Himeko’s skills or insults anymore. Unfortunately, the performance is cancelled due to a sudden pyrotechnic malfunction. While Karen tries to escape from the flames, she feels something shove her to the ground. She tries to get up on her own, but the fire is raging out of control, making it difficult to move even a muscle. With the situation growing desperate, Kenji has no choice but to rush in and carry her out to safety. While Karen catches her breath, Yamato suddenly arrives before ZetaPro. He finds it hard to believe a half-breed could become this nationally popular. Everyone knows how much several people hate foreigners, even those of partially-foreign blood. ZetaPro must have been using dishonest tactics to promote her, just like the other common-class companies. Karen must have promoted herself as a total S-L-U-T, doing everything in her power to provide as much “service” to her dimwitted fans as possible. Kenji refutes Yamato’s lies, claiming it was her raw talent and determination and his constant care and support that led to her unit’s popularity. Besides, people have been more accepting of “half-breeds” than ever before. Karen’s fans don’t care that she’s a little different. Their beautiful and talented goddess continues to shine in their hearts. Yamato scoffs at Kenji’s defense of Karen, claiming it’s just a sorry middle class excuse for hiding their weaknesses.

Yamato soon gets a call from the staff member who shoved Karen to the floor during the stage fire. Yamato commends the man on a job well done, claiming this event might make Karen realize that not everyone is as accepting of her differences as she believes. Maybe this might break her confidence…

Back at the office, Karen blushes as she clings to Kenji, thanking him profusely for saving her from the burning stage. He truly is the brave prince from her dreams she is destined to be with. Kenji wonders if that trip might have been an act to get him to heroically rescue the damsel in distress, but Karen tells him she really was in distress—someone pushed her down as she was trying to escape. Concerned, the President immediately sends a call to the Harvest Moon Festival’s staff, informing them of the incident during the performance. Karen’s a little worried that the person who shoved her could have hated her for being half-Caucasian, but Kenji tells her perhaps it was just an accident. Even if this guy really did shove her on purpose, there are still thousands, maybe millions of people who still support her. One lone hater shouldn’t dampen her spirits like that. Karen thanks Kenji once again as she heads for the door, promising to return the favor one day.

Get ready for another "Kenji x" moment!

Karen Hoshikawa's Route, conclusion

On the day of the opening ceremony of the IU finals, Karen overhears a conversation between Himeko and Yamato. Karen is surprised to discover that Himeko is also a foreigner…a full-blooded one at that. What’s even more surprising, Himeko too is uncomfortable being an “Englishman in New York.” It seems that beneath her snobby princess-like aura beats the heart of a lonely, scared, and different girl. As Himeko passes by, Karen gets her attention, stating she can hardly believe how similar she is to Himeko. She tells her she should not feel concerned just because she’s a little different from everyone else. Karen has learned that over the course of her idol career. Both of them really have talent worthy of their popularity. Besides, look how popular Himeko has become over such a short time with NAZO’s other members! Whether she be British, Japanese, or of some other origin, her loyal followers all bow to their perfect princess. Himeko gets angry, thinking Karen was eavesdropping on her chat with Yamato. “Just like a peasant…sticking your nose where it doesn’t belong!” She goes further claiming Karen does not know her at all and they are far from alike. Himeko runs back to NAZO’s van in tears.

As Karen grows more and more flirty with Kenji, she has caught the attention of Yamato’s spies, who are quick to send the information to their employer. Yamato chuckles, figuring this would be the perfect opportunity to put a halt to that overrated half-breed’s career once and for all.

Karen leads her unit to victory in the first two rounds of the IU finals against Jupiter and Project Fairy. She finds Project Fairy particularly interesting knowing all three members are different in their own way—another natural blonde (though Karen is unaware of Miki's "true colors"), a mysterious silver-haired maiden, and an Okinawan. At least she knows she’s not the only particularly “unique” idol competing in the tournament.

The next morning on the day of the IU finals, Karen receives an ominous red letter with a dragon motif. Yamato has captured several romantic moments between Karen and Kenji on camera and film. Imagine the reaction of the general public when they realize the idol they love so much has been going steady with her producer. Perhaps she might have asked him for…a little bit more than just romance? Yamato then threatens her to drop out of the IU, surrender to NAZO, and quit her idol career or suffer public humiliation from the release of all those exposing images. He does have friends in high places, so he makes sure Karen agrees to his demands because the entertainment industry is better off without filth like her. Kenji cannot believe Yamato would stoop so low. He really does not know what to do, but Karen is not willing to give everything up after all they have been through. Not even an ultimatum like that will keep her from seeing things through to the end, especially after the promise she made to Kenji. ZetaPro will eventually find a way.

Later that evening, Kaito gets big news from the staff. The staff of the Harvest Moon Festival found the man responsible for pushing Karen to the floor during the stage fire. They got him to confess to his actions and will let him off with just a suspension if he testifies against the person who put him up to this. As Yamato confidently approaches ZetaPro looking for a response to his ultimatum, the staff member rats him out—Yamato was the one behind the whole ordeal! He believed Yamato gave him the orders as a message from one of his superiors. Kenji is just about to snap at his rival. First the ultimatum, now this…what does Yamato intend to get out of all this? Yamato wants to prove once and for all that foreigners, even half-foreigners like Karen, do not deserve to be idols, claiming them to be a disgrace to Japan’s entertainment industry. He always found some way to cover up the truth about Himeko, especially since she is also of the upper class. The reason why he had Karen knocked down during the Harvest Moon Festival fire was to teach her that while people have become more accepting of foreigners over the years, there are still people who frown upon them. Since his plan to use her crush on Seiya against her ultimately failed due to Karen’s sudden discovery, he figured getting that message across might discourage her from further idol activities. If Karen refused to comply to his ultimatum, he planned to use every American stereotype in the book to not only ruin her image, but the images of so many other Americans in Japan, whether they be of full or partial blood. Karen butts in. She has learned quite a few things over the course of her career with ZetaPro. One, sure there may still be bigoted anti-foreigners out there, but her fans love her just because she is an amazing idol with incredible beauty and talent. They don’t seem to care about her origins at all. Two, being an idol is not just about trying to win the love of one guy (like Seiya or Kenji); it’s about having fun, spreading joy, and captivating the hearts of their entire audience. Yamato can’t stand any more of Karen’s preaching. Kenji demands Yamato to cut out his shenanigans and fight fairly for the IU finals. The rest goes on from there…

ENDING

Kenji has noticed that Karen has left the office relatively earlier than expected after coming back from Tokyo Dome. Just as he’s about to head home for the night, he gets a text message from Karen, asking him to meet her under the biggest tree at the park a block south from the office. Once he arrives, he finds Karen underneath the tree wearing a pink kimono. Kenji is surprised. From what Karen told him, she usually doesn’t wear traditional Japanese clothes. Still, he remarks that it looks very cute on her. Karen tells him the reason she is wearing a kimono is to thank Kenji for helping to shape her into the girl she is today. She has learned that appearances alone don’t define who she really is. Rather than trying to focus on what her crushes would like, she follows her own heart and does what she likes to do. Karen also admired all the care and support Kenji gave her, especially when he stood up for her against closed-minded anti-foreigners. At first Karen thought of Kenji as the dashing prince or gallant knight in shining armor from her past daydreams, but she is starting to believe this could be true love. After confessing to her producer that she truly loves him, she embraces him tenderly and gives him a quick kiss. This moment clearly was her fairy tale’s true “happily ever after.”

I'm kind of divided between Nozomi, Reika, Yoshino, Momoko, and Hikari.
I also want to get a few skits done as well as post some promotional pics I was going to show for Anime Expo.

I DON'T KNOW WHO I SHIP MOST. D:

In all seriousness, Karen's a good character. She's pretty funny with her romanticism and all that flirting. It actually makes me chuckle. How American.
I think I just like your characters all too much. :P But...

another natural blonde

Miki is not a natrual blonde. She's a natural brunette, she just dyes her hair. I don't know if you were just saying this from Karen's POV who didn't notice that Miki's eyebrows are, in fact, still brown, or if you just didn't know, though I assume it's the former since pretty much every iM@S fan knows about Awakened Miki. XD The perfectionist in me had to point it out nonetheless.

ONWARDS, AOSHIMA!!!

Oh. That. Silly me. :P

Don't worry, I know about Awakened Miki watching her alternate path was a big reason I fell in love with her in the first place ;).  From what I heard in the Wiki, 2nd Vision "Miki's hair was changed to be naturally blond and curlier." Seeing how Neo Vision is supposed to be set after iM@S2, that's essentially why I said "another natural blonde."

However, since I essentially combined the stories from SP and iM@S2, it looks like I have some changes to make... :P

another natural blonde (though Karen is unaware of Miki's "true colors"),

EDIT: There we go. Hopefully I tied everything in.

Of course! Thanks! I may think about opening a new thread, drawing several other characters in that style.

Okay, on to bwees-ness. Earlier, I recalled Liza's comment regarding relationships between the ZetaPro idols. So I wrote a small fanfic telling the story of how Momoko and Hikari became fast friends. I prefer to write my fanfics in this particular style, so here goes.

Momoko & Hikari, the Light of Love

It was a warm, clear night in the outskirts of Tokyo. It was near closing time at the ZetaProductions building. President Yashiro Ryuuzaki was just about to finish his paperwork for the day when suddenly…

(Nozomi enters the President’s office holding two idol application sheets)

Nozomi: President?

President: Yes? What is it, Nozomi-kun?

Nozomi: Two more applicants have arrived and are waiting to audition. (hands the application sheets to the President) Here are their sheets.

President: (sigh) Three auditions already today and now we get two more this late in the evening? (chuckles) It seems as though a president’s work is never done. Nozomi-kun, if you would get my camcorder ready in the practice room, please?

Nozomi: Understood sir.

President: And while you are at it, do me a favor and let me speak to the girl with the pink hair. Aida Momoko is her name.

Nozomi: Very well.

(she leaves the office and notices two girls waiting in the lobby—Momoko and Hikari; she walks up to them)

Nozomi: Aida Momoko?

Momoko: Yes?

Nozomi: The president wishes to speak with you now. His office is straight ahead on the left side.

Momoko: (giggles) Thank you!

(she happily skips to the President’s office)

Nozomi: (in her mind) She has spunk, I’ll give her that…but what I really wonder is if she has the talents to match her cute looks.

(Nozomi heads to the practice room to set up the President’s camcorder)

(meanwhile, back in the President’s office)

President: So…(reads Momoko's application)…you are Aida Momoko, age 14, a second-year junior high student from Akihabara. It says here you once worked at a maid café. Is that true?

Momoko: M-hm. That’s right, the prettiest maid in the café! (giggles) Everyone I served loved me because I’m so cute!

President: I…see. Being a café maid, I take it you have a bit of experience performing in front of decent-sized crowds?

Momoko: Yup! I’ve done quite a bit of karaoke and dance covers! Everyone loved me—my fellow maids and my audience—because no one’s as pretty as me! (giggles)

President: And what made you decide to become an idol?

Momoko: I want to be super-cute and super-popular like my idol Hoshii Miki! And I want to show everyone just how pretty I am!

President: (chuckles) I can see you have quite a bit of enthusiasm and self-confidence too. Those are two very good aspects for an aspiring idol. (he gets off his chair) Okay then, now we move on to the audition segment of the interview. Follow me to the practice room, if you will please.

Momoko: Yeah!

(Momoko gets off her chair and follows the President into the practice room, where Nozomi awaits with a camcorder all set up)

President: You have prepared a song and dance routine for your audition, yes?

Momoko: I have! Here’s the CD. (she hands the President a CD case) It’s track number 1.

President: Thank you.

Nozomi: Pardon me, President, but we are running a little short on time. We have to close up in five munites. And we have another girl waiting in the wings.

President: Hmm…that does pose a problem.

Momoko: Huh? Hello? (waves at the President and Nozomi) What about the audition?

President: Pardon me for a minute, Aida-kun…hmm…yes. (to Nozomi) Go ahead and bring her into the practice room. We’ll have them audition together. Here’s her application.

(he hands Nozomi Hikari’s application sheet)

Nozomi: I see. Very well then. (she opens the door) Kasugano Hikari?

Hikari: (immediately stands up from her chair) Yes? That’s me.

Momoko: (her voice can be heard from the practice room) What?! What do you mean we’re going to audition together?!

(Nozomi looks back at Momoko, a bit annoyed)

Nozomi: Pay no attention to that. Would you please come in here? The President wishes to see you.

Hikari: Oh? I’m gonna audition?! Sweet!

(she immediately dashes for the practice room door and enters the room)

Hikari: (waves) Hi! (notices Momoko) Huh? (in her mind) Oh, you think you can show me up, huh? Well, sorry to tell you, sister, but I must get that idol spot no matter what it takes.

Momoko: (in her mind) Why is she so confident? Does she really think she can beat me? I’m much prettier than she ever will be! That idol spot is going to be mine.

(the girls glare at each other)

President: Um…Kasugano Hikari.

Hikari: (surprised a bit) Yes sir!

President: (reads Hikari's application) age 14, second year junior high school student from Nagoya. According to this, it looks like you have a bit of performance history under your belt…you’ve been in a dance team and a rhythmic gymnastics club in your school?

Hikari: Yeah. I’ve been dancing for a while now.

President: Have you ever competed against clubs from rival schools?

Hikari: (hesitates a little) …yeah! That’s the best part of the season!

President: And what made you decide to become an idol?

Hikari: Easy. I love to dance. Plus, I love the thrill of the competition. I know just how competitive the idol world is. I want to be able to perform and find new rivals!

(she starts looking a little unsure of herself, as if there’s something more to her story)

President: I admire your energy. You seem ready for this audition.

Momoko: (looks slyly at Hikari) Ooh, what’s the matter? Scared of my overwhelming cuteness?

Hikari: (looks away from Hikari and crosses her arms, looking a little pouty) I-I’m not scared! I was just…thinking too much, that’s all!

President: Because we are pretty crunched for time, you two will have to audition together. Do you both have a routine you can agree on?

Momoko: (in her mind) Hopefully she knows my song…if she does, I’ve already got the upper hand. (out loud) Hey Hikari-chan, do you know “relations,” the Hoshii Miki song?

Hikari: I am familiar with it actually! A couple of members of my dance team play it quite a bit. (in her mind) Little does she know I watched and studied the dance too. I’ll show her just how skilled I really am.

Momoko: Okay, so we're going to perform “relations.” It’s on the CD I just gave you.

Nozomi: (walking over to the stereo) Track 1, right?

Momoko: That’s right.

President: Okay. Now before we begin, your performance will be recorded for staff purposes only. Is that okay with you?

Momoko and Hikari: Okay.

President: Thank you. Okay, we’re rolling.

(he pushes the record button on his camcorder and gives a high sign to Nozomi; she presses the play button on the stereo)

One duet performance of “relations” later…

(Nozomi presses the stop button on the stereo, stopping the CD; the president presses the record button on the camcorder, stopping the recording)

President: Thank you. We will inform both of you later this week if anything else happens.

Momoko and Hikari: Thank you very much!

(they both exit the practice room, gather their belongings, and exit the office)

One week later…

(outside the office, Momoko happily runs to the office from the north side of the sidewalk)

Momoko: Just wait, Miki-san! I’m going to become as popular as you one day!

(meanwhile, Hikari happily runs to the office from the south side of the sidewalk)

Hikari: Just wait, you guys! I’ll show you I can be just as useful as you are one day!

(as they are running, they suddenly crash into each other and fall to the ground)

Momoko: (rubs the back of her head) Owowow…hey, you’re that girl from the audition!

Hikari: Huh? No way! (gets back up) What are you doing here?

Momoko: (gets back up) I’m heading for the ZetaPro office to see the President.

Hikari: You too? Wait a minute. Don’t tell me you passed your idol audition too!

Momoko: What? You mean we both passed?

Hikari: Looks that way. (chuckles) And here I was thinking I was competing against you for the job and won.

Momoko: Wow, you’re not going to believe this but I thought the same thing!

(they both laugh)

Momoko: Anyway, let’s head to the President’s office. Oh, by the way, I’m Aida Momoko, the prettiest girl in all Japan.

Hikari: And I’m Kasugano Hikari, Nagoya’s princess of dance. Nice to meet you.

(they shake hands)

Hikari: (laughs) Sounds like we’ve already got something in common…our confidence!

Momoko: (laughs) Yeah!

(the girls continue to laugh enter the ZetaPro building, where they meet the President)

President: Ah, good morning you two. I take it you both have received my emails.

Hikari: I did!

Momoko: Me too! I can’t believe we’re both gonna be idols!

President: Yes, you displayed a great amount of potential in your audition, not just in your talents but in your teamwork. You worked so well together despite having just met each other. As idols, building up unity between a unit’s members is equally as important, if not even more so, than training your abilities. That was what made your audition so special.

Momoko and Hikari: Thank you so much, President!

President: You are very welcome. However, just because you passed your audition, you are not technically idols yet. Right now you are just candidates. We will need to find you a producer to manage your careers before you can make your national debut.

Hikari: I knew there had to be a catch to it…

President: Don’t worry, Hikari-kun. I’m pretty sure we will find a good one soon. However, our candidates still have to arrive on Saturdays in order to learn the basics of being an idol and continue to hone their skills so that they’re in tip-top form once they debut.

Hikari: Oh. Okay.

Momoko: I hope my producer will be a handsome young prince who will whisk me away… (she starts to blush)

President: (chuckles) Maybe, but you’ll never know until you meet him. Or her for that matter. Now, practice is going to start soon. Go meet Nozomi-kun over in the practice room. You’ve seen her in the audition, so I’m pretty sure you’re already familiar with her. Good luck.

Momoko and Hikari: Yes! Thank you!

(as the President heads for the office they quickly and excitedly turn to each other)

Momoko: Did you hear that?! We’re gonna be idols!!

Hikari: I know! I’m so happy! (they both hug each other) I think we’re going to become great friends.

Momoko: Hey, let’s exchange phone numbers and emails! This way we can keep in touch! I also got a Facebook account if you have one.

Hikari: Yeah! I’ll friend you once I get the chance! (gets out a pen and paper) Okay, what’s your number?

(as Hikari takes down Momoko’s information, Momoko adds Hikari’s information on her smart phone)

Momoko and Hikari would go on to become the best of friends. While they did live in different parts of Japan, they constantly chat with each other online and on the phone, mainly about school life and practices. Together they eagerly await the arrival of their producer.

It's been a while since I done one of these, but I hope it was detailed enough to know what's going on. Let me know what you think. Feedback and criticism always helps.

I like Momoko's and Hikari's story but I think it would be much better using paragraphs.

I like Momoko's and Hikari's story but I think it would be much better using paragraphs.

Thanks. Glad you like it. When I was setting up relationships between ZetaPro's idols, I wanted to do something a bit different for a couple of them. I've seen people who know each other before becoming pro (i.e. Sakura and Asuka). I've seen people who have become closer as they get to know each other from their days as idol candidates. But for Momoko and Hikari, I wanted it all to start right from the audition line, then have a situation where both of them had to audition together as a kind of test to their teamwork (despite never even knowing each other before--plus, seeing how Momoko wants the spotlight and attention and Hikari is secretly trying to conquer an inferiority complex, it starts off as a bit of a conflict, thinking they have to compete for the idol spot). Glad to see this little tale went over well.

I'll be honest, though, I'm kind of used to writing fanfictions this way (script style), somewhat inspired by another group of artists who use this particular fanfic style. I do see your point, though. I do write paragraphs while doing a story runthrough (i.e. Story Mode routes). This is how I usually write rough copies. Thank you for your opinion. It's just that I'm a bit more comfortable with drawing actual fanfictions like I just did.

I wish I could expire my poll, but I can't for some reason. I only got two votes, but since the vote for Yoshino was cast first, I will run through her Story Mode route next. Now for our loli-meganekko!

Igarashi Yoshino’s Route

Kenji first meets Yoshino at a nearby park. She’s playing around, swinging on the swings, singing to herself, and having herself a fun time. Kenji is quite surprised at her demeanor. From what he can tell, she’s far from the stereotypical meganekko. Rather than being the serious, hard-working type or the soft-spoken, introverted type, Yoshino is very childish, innocent, playful, and all-around happy. As she excitedly runs towards her next destination, she trips over the exposed root of a nearby tree and falls flat on her face, dropping her glasses in the process. Unable to see clearly at all without her glasses, she begins helplessly feeling along the ground to find them. Wanting to lend a hand, Kenji finds Yoshino’s glasses and helps her back up. Luckily, the glasses are just fine aside from a little dirt. Yoshino thinks she brought along her glass cleaner, but it turns out she forgot to bring it along, so she wipes them off with her shirt. Kenji suspects there is still a bit of a typical meganekko aura in her after witnessing her clumsy moments. It seems as though she has both loli and meganekko traits. Yoshino thanks Kenji for helping her. Once Kenji tells her that he is her producer and her debut has been decided, her excitement peaks and begins jumping for joy. As she runs happily along with Kenji back to the office, she runs right smack into the trunk of the tree she tripped over not too long ago. She’s a little shaken up, but still has a ton of energy to burn.

Kenji wonders if Yoshino will switch to contact lenses when performing. Yoshino never even considered wearing contacts, mainly because they feel very uncomfortable. Besides, the dance routines are just fine for regular glasses—nothing too all-out. Kenji is also worried that her clumsy nature might make dancing a bit of a problem for her. Luckily, Yoshino is an avid studier and learns routines rather quickly.
