The Portal of Zeta - a rundown of potential fan projects

(1/2) > >>

ZetaFlare:
I've been wanting to show off my creative side and post my ideas for art/fanfics online for quite a while now, but procrastination and lack of motivation kept me from doing so. Recently, I've made creating fan projects and being more active with my creativity a New Year's Resolution this year. I've been drawing/sketching (it's a pretty simple style, TBH), creating PowerPoint animations, and (more recently) writing fanfics for a long time now, but have never posted them online either because I was scared of trolls (or people who just think my ideas are lame) or because I didn't have the time or motivation with school and music practice. Here are some ideas I've been thinking about doing.

* Project PPG, a magical girl series set a few decades after the events in Powerpuff Girls. This was a project that began in 2000 and has evolved significantly since its first creation. Back then, it was a cheap, formulaic, repetitive, incredibly lame Saturday-morning action series (you know, the kind where someone's causing trouble in the city, the girls transform, bust the villain, save the day. The end). I dropped it about the time I entered high school.

However, around the time PPGZ came along, I revived it with a more serious approach. While there are still MOTWs, I actually added a plot. Jozaru--a descendent of Mojo Jojo--is planning to wipe out humanity and replace it with his own super-beings called Wilders, containing both human and animal DNA. He also seeks an ancient gemstone said to have fallen to Earth from space and contains enough power to destroy entire planets--basically like a bite-size Death Star. Four girls in Atlantic City (not the one in New Jersey) who were born with Powerpuff DNA inside them (and thus inherited some of their traits) are Earth's greatest hope against this new threat. Through the perseverance of a scientist and his devoted assistant (who is the lead male in the series), the girls are given the power to awaken their dormant abilities and thwart the forces of evil just like their predecessors did long ago.
* iDOLM@STER Neo Vision is my second-most recent idea. Beginning just a few weeks after the events in iM@S2, a new entertainment company, ZetaPro (consisting of a group of OC idols), seeks to rise to stardom from the depths of obscurity. However, a new unit known as NAZO has become the biggest national idol sensation in just a matter of weeks. Worst yet, they seem to show hostility towards ZetaPro. The young and talented musician/composer Kenji Kodou age 15 is appointed ZetaPro's new producer. As the idols rise in popularity, it becomes apparent that this journey isn't just about shooting for "top idol." Unity will once again become a big factor in this tale of laughs, hardships, coming-of-age, and, of course, fanservice.

Of course, the idols we all know and love (765pro and 876pro) will still be around and Kuroi still has some tricks up his sleeve. No mobile game idols though. Sorry to all you Cinderella Girls and Million Live fans out there...
More to come later.

I'm gonna be honest; this looks awesome.

Probably because I create idol OCs myself and was actually planning on writing about them too. Or, rather, I'm GOING to, but I don't plan on posting it anywhere. So.

But seriously. I want to see this happen. Good luck with your writing! I know how nasty that can be.

ZetaFlare:
I've already got sketches of all 23 ZetaPro idols down. Got their casual outfits, training outfits, and gravure swimsuits. Plus, I did sketches of Kenji, Yamato Ryuuzaki (NAZO's producer), NAZO's casual outfits, and Kaito Ootori--an older friend of Kenji's who helps him out in his job, mainly driving him and the girls to work and back. I'll post them soon along with bios of each character.

But those two aren't all of my ideas. Stay tuned for more.

I've also had an idea regarding original idols. Male idols. I've been thinking of pitching it to an otome game community and get some male fandubbers and make it a community project. I know that one of these original idols will be a shota (female voiced) idol that I will voice myself. Maybe I should make a thread about it... It would heavily involve 876 and Ai and Eri would play a role, too.

I'm looking forward for the pictures with the original idols, but remember: I hate fanservice with a passion! 8)  There are a lot of good animes that could be much better without it.
