I never thought aboit it, because she needs no one but Imber and thus can't be involved in any pairing...
And yes, I'm NOT a yuri fan, Chihaya and Yukiho are best of all friends! :)

--- End quote ---

It's true, I ship them. XD Just because they've been together for who knows how long, and he's so casual about everything in stark contrast to Chihaya being...well, Chihaya.
I guess for me, it's the whole "opposites attract" thing. He's usually calm but freaks out occasionally, and she's usually on-edge and smiles occasionally.
But yeah. The fact that she only pays attention to Imber means there's no chance of it ever being canon. Not to mention they're both dead. Also, at one point he makes a comment about how irritatingly difficult she is to handle (something like "she's really a handful, that daughter of yours..."), so.
BUT THAT WILL NOT STOP MY SHIPPING. XD

I'm not a yuri fan either, but that pairing is literally almost canon. Emphasis on ALMOST. XD It's a bit unnerving. Still, I like them better as best friends.

If I had to ship Makoto with anyone, it would be MakotoxCrabs.

So I have a question for those of you who watch this series.

When it comes to Mondenkind, everyone just kinda joined because a) they needed a job, or b) they were "chosen" for it. But Turiavita is different. Every member of that organization joined for a unique, important reason.

So I'm curious. Who do you think had the best reason for joining Turiavita? In case you've forgotten/didn't really pay attention when you watched it, I have taken it upon myself to compile a list.

Del Donna: Wanted to perfect the Mischling project through her own methods without the help of her husband and open Auryn, creating a world where her creation would run wild.
R.I.F.F.A/Riffa: She was literally born into it.
Chihaya: Wanted revenge--against Azusa, probably, who betrayed her by choosing Mondenkind's side, and especially against Haruka, who stole Imber away from her. She wanted to earn back the love of the iDOL she had desired since the day of her adoption--and maybe break a few necks as payback along the way.
Karasu: Wanted revenge against the people of Grand Lodge for killing his father.
Makoto: Spent seven years training to be the greatest pilot she could be--and then got banned from ever piloting with Mondenkind ever again. She did the only thing she could think to do: joined up with Turiavita so she could keep piloting.
Yukiho: Wanted to be with Chihaya and please her. Chihaya was the first person to reach out to her and look after her, and so Yukiho felt a sense of loyalty to her.

For me, I have to say my favorite reason is Makoto's. But Karasu, Chihaya, and Yukiho are tied for a VERY close second place.

My reasons are as follows:
Makoto's reason just makes sense. I mean, if you were in her position (trained for a job for a good chunk of your life and dedicated all your time, energy, and attention to it--then got fired), wouldn't you do the same thing? While there was a layer of malice in it (I do think she wanted revenge against Azusa, and Turiavita is the perfect place for revenge), for the most part I think she just didn't want to have to work as tech support and be constantly reminded of the life she lost.
Chihaya's story is incredibly sad no matter how you look at it. Think about it: she was the product of cruel experiments (even if it was her own choice in the end) and dedicated her whole life to something...and then that something she adored abandoned her for seemingly no reason at all. If I were her, I'd probably be pretty mad too.
Yukiho was incredibly lonely in her childhood for what you can gather. She had no one until Chihaya reached out her hand to her and took her in. All Yukiho had ever known was a loyalty to Chihaya--this woman who took her in and looked after her when no one else would. Even if I was furious at her for betraying Mondenkind, I understand why she did it.
As for Karasu...picture this: you're a young man growing up close with your dad, just chilling at home. Suddenly, a swarm of soldiers with guns storm in and kill him. Oh, hooray! Yeah, if I were him, I'd probably be pretty messed up too. You don't really know how old he was when his father died, or why his father died, or how close he was to his father when he died. But based on the fact that that one single event was enough to cause him to join (and preside over) an evil organization that basically wanted to bring about the apocalypse (and kill thousands of innocent people along the way) leads you to believe that he must have REALLY liked his dad, and that his death was so traumatic to Karasu that all he could think of was making the Grand Lodge suffer the same way they made him suffer.

I am obsessed with this show.

So yeah! Let me know what you think! ;D

He said it because all the computers were blocked due Chihaya-Master's purpose to turn herself into a Burial Doll. (That thing with the German title was connected with other technics.)

;D  But didn't you think about Makoto/Karasu? Do you still remember that picture? ;)

And Chihaya is on the third place! She lost to Haruka again. I thought no one would vote for her, but 44 people like beautiful voices Chihaya! 8)

I remember that, Schmelzofen. Or however you spell it. Yeah.
So aside from that, they seem to get along well enough.
I love how casual he is about working around women. They'll just be completely naked in front of him and he's just like "so here's your medicine. By the way, something about work. OK, bye."

Ah, also! Technically speaking, Schmelzofen (I'm just gonna spell it like that) wasn't connected to other machines. The reason Karasu got so mad was because Chihaya was taking power FROM other operations to direct it all to Schmelzofen. She was taking energy from everything else so that Turiavita didn't have enough power to launch the Epimetheuses or put up their cloaking storm or anything like that.
...Sorry.

As far as Karasu goes, Makoto is my second favorite character paired with him (after Chihaya). But then you remember that she's only sixteen and he's probably at least in his late twenties, so it's technically illegal.  :-\

Go Chihaya!
Gather more fans and overtake Ms. Perfect Main Character Haruka!

I have nothing against Haruka, but I just really didn't care about her. Like, I liked her, but she was just sorta...there.

You don't need to apologize because you are right! I just forgot. ;)

I think Chihaya was taken to Turiavita. When Imber rejected her, she was in such a condition, that it was very easy for Teru Rou to take Chihaya even without asking her. Of course, that woman knew that Azusa wouldn't go with her. I think Chihaya wanted to revenge against whole Mondenkind - those crazy scientists who ruined her childhood, not even thinking that most of them became members of Turiavita.
