Hello, everyone! Yoroshiki onegaishimasu!

It's possible that the YouTube link is still in your browser's history, on the computer your sister found the video on. Also, I guess it couldn't hurt to post the results of your deciphering. :) I'm not a Japanese speaker, so I usually don't know the lyrics, but I'm familiar with the themes of some idolmaster songs.

Cael K.:
... Shinsou?

Blazblue: Continuum Shift II Opening, sung by Asami Imai. Closer hit than my last one - sung by Chihaya's voice actress and actually means Deep Blue.

Grace, you could try SoundHound. I just tested it on three Chihaya songs, and it successfully identified two of them. I'm assuming that you have an iOS device with a microphone, because you're saving up for the Shiny Festa apps.

WAIT A MINUTE!

THAT'S IT!
THAT'S IT THAT'S IT!

SHINSOU! YES!
*does a happy dance* OH MY GOSH THANK YOU.

So it's not Chihaya, it's just Asami Imai! Got it!  ;D

I actually don't yet have an iOS device...which means that before I start saving for the apps, I need an iPad. :I I'm really just saving up a huge sum of money and hoping to buy everything I want at once.
But as you can see above, thanks to Cael, I've found it!

This is why you should never trust Google Translate, you guys. Because when I put the words "deep blue" into the English section and had it translated to Japanese, the ONE word it didn't give me was "Shinsou". If I had found that, I might have been able to find the song on my own. Oh well.

It's not actually a dictionary word, so to get any meaning out of it, you have to go by what each of its kanji mean.

深蒼 (しん・そう) - The first is the one for deep, the second is the elaborate version of blue (there's a simpler, more common version).

So now that's out of the way, welcome to the forums!
