I didn't notice any weird stuff in the animation itself, but...

Honestly I think it just made a bad transition from solo to multiple singers... There are parts of the song where you have members just standing there.

OFA has kind of been bad with dances looking fine solo but being really awkward in groups... Actually, more the reverse. I think Destiny is the worst offender, where the idol singing it solo has her back to the stage for a good half of the song.

EDIT: upon another watch Destiny isn't as bad as I remember, actually.

Unless it's all an after-burst-skill, then you "simply" have to counter every single burst.

I'll give it another shot when I get back home, but it's annoying to deal with Jupiter if only because both of their skills (the memory steal and the appeal rate reduction) happen AS they burst, not after... though you do lose a ton of voltage when they finish a burst as well. Not only does that discourage countering (you're losing memories and burst score in the process), but it also makes it even more annoying to try following up after the burst. Even on follow-up songs where I supposedly weaken them, I still end up with a 61000 score compared to their 70000.

Granted, I have a tendency to go at things unprepared. My highest level is Yukiho at 38, and my team (Miki and Azusa, around 35 each) has 13 memories total. Azusa is actually a very good lifeline for me because I think the Jupiter skill takes 3 memories each time, so you can replenish lost memories with some luck. They're all S3, too, so I should probably focus on filling the rest of their skill boards.

Naryoril:
I just beat the S2 rank up without much trouble.

First of all: New Skills are unlocked upon reaching S2 rank.

As i said earlier, all idols are level 40. The description when selecting the job says following: When they start the burst (i only saw yukibro's post afterwards), it lowers your rate, lowers your voltage (to about half when it was full before their burst) and destroys your memory appeals. So i don't think they get stolen. Also the burst skill acting on activating the burst is new and it makes it impossible to counter their skill effect.

On the first song i simply overpowered them cruelly with my best team (Yukiho, Miki, Azusa using Kosmos Cosmos) even though 2 were wearing the wrong outfit, i beat them with 114k to 70k.

On the second song i went in with 7 vs 7 memory appeals and they more or less forced me to loose the song, they went all out and i didn't stand a chance.

For the third song they only had 1 memory appeal left, so i could beat them easily since i had 7.

On that last song i made an observation: my voltage bar was almost full (as well as theirs) from the second song, so i bursted very early. I was countered by them, but i still had 7 memory appeals left, my rates were about 90% as they always are when you are countered, my voltage bar was empty anyway. So it seems enemy burst skills don't activate during a counter. On the S3 rank up festival, the voltage destroying effect doesn't activate either when you are countered.
Knowing this also probably is the trick to beating Jupiter: Burst before them, it is worth it up to a cost of 3 memory appeals, maybe even 4. But burst in such a manner that they will be able to counter you, not that they burst after your own burst is done and you still loose the memories (unless you go all out and can burst another time before they get to burst). This also means you should also use burst skills that work during the burst, Chihaya, Miki and Hibiki probably are a good choice.

Edit: But i think we should move this discussion to the gameplay thread.

Yukibro:
Hm, that's odd. The only reason why I said they stole memories was because I knew they used up a couple despite still having the same or similar amount of memories to start with... or maybe I just looked wrong? Not that it matters anyway, losing memories is the larger concern. In any case, that's a good observation with the counters and burst skills, though I'll leave it at that if it's going too far into game mechanics discussion. I should just emphasize leveling up my idols before tackling this again.

Yukiho's episodes are uploaded now, at least. I apologize if anyone's been looking forward to the other videos, it's just that all those contact videos wiped me out from actually playing through the game like normal.

Byuusan:
just wondering, for S4U does anyone know how to get the new Extend to begin in it Ultimate stage rather than ti Default stage?
