Well, I got ninja'ed. So here's some the explanation behind the names:
Takane: アロセレーネ (Allo Selene. Selene is the Greek goddess of the moon. Allo means other so the name would be 'The Other Selene'.)
Chihaya: イストーリヤスヴェート (История свет, History of Light. Though, Story fits better I think.)
Yayoi: ソニックシトラッシュ (Sonic Citrush. Citrush is a combination of Citrus and Rush)
Hibiki: ファンタジアソール (Fantasia Sol. Sol is Latin for Sun)
Azusa: ジニアルシンサリテイ (Genial Sincerity. Genial means friendly, cheerful)
Yukiho: テイアリフルジェンス (Teary Fulgens. Fulgens is Latin for Shine)
Makoto: エムートアンビシオン (Emuto Ambition. Emuto is Latin for Change)

Oh yeah, ピ should be ビ.

Azusa - Genial Sincerity

I honestly read that as Genital Sincerity. I should probably go sit in a corner now. :U

Ara ara.

I tried figuring out what Ritsuko's means, but all グラスハイド came up with was like a facial moisturizer or something.

The "Change 2 MY Color" outfit doesn't change when used with "Saihyou"! :o

DLC is up now. The S2 rank-up festival (against Jupiter, too!) might be required, since I'm cutting it REALLY close on these EX Episode jobs with a level 38 Yukiho. It also seems that the new extends also prevent you from equipping any accessories. I still wonder if that's all we'll get, though...

Now for the Ultimate Appeals... they basically boost your skill boosts (the middle bars on each appeal) to max, which is like making your solo idol perform like a mid-high rank trio. The only catch is that you need to get your voltage maxed and then use another memory, like if you were doing a duo burst. The AI for this fourth job is incredibly annoying for me right now, and while it might be because I skipped the S2 rank-up, you can't actually use the Ultimate Appeal while the AI is bursting. So if you get max voltage while they're still bursting, you either counter or waste memories. I managed to pull a close victory regardless, but it's not fun to hit a wall like that.

As for the S2 rank-ups? It's Jupiter, and it's probably the most insane challenge so far. Their bursts take your memories... and I don't just mean they drain yours. They'll take, say, three of your memories and add it to theirs. I only noticed when they started off with 15 memories on the first song and ended up with 13 memories on the second song. Oh, and they also bring every appeal down to 100%. So yeah, good luck.

On another note, I had a loading screen with the President on it. Never seen that one before.

Well, it's S rank after all. Who's the opponent for the S3 rank-up festival though? Also, what are the skill names and effects the latest three DLC rival bursts? I'm curious.

Sounds like i need to shy away from my principle to always include Yukiho if the game allows me to, argh.

On top of it: Today the new Patch for FF XIV was released and i promised some guys to explore the new dungeons with them when the patch is released. But i also want to do Yukiho's storyline today. Argh! Guess it will be late until i get to bed today....

The S3 opponent was Maou Angel again, so it was really just a higher-level IE festival. I didn't have too much trouble with that one myself, but I think I need Gold songs to get past Jupiter in S2. The bar is way higher than it was before, certainly, and I'd say it's more fitting for an S-Rank job now.

By the way, clearing the next four episodes for an idol ups the idol's max level to 45. I didn't see any new skills on the board, though, so I don't know if they appear after the rank-up or if they're prepping for the last episodes.

With lvl 45 you'd have way too many SP. On top of that, the new Skills from the first pack are unlocked by beating the S3 rank up festival. So i guess the S2 rank up will unlock the skills.
I'll definitely try to beat the festival today. I got all idols on lvl 40, 2 with 5 memories, 3 with 4 memories and the rest with 3. With this it MUST be possible to beat the rank up festival somehow.

If they really steal your memory appeals, then maybe the way to go is to make sure to win the first event by using all your memory appeals, then not switching the girls for the second song so jupiter uses more of their appeals without being able to steal some of yours, and then go for the third song again.
Unless it's all an after-burst-skill, then you "simply" have to counter every single burst.

That reminds me, the new personal costumes somehow manage to grow fabric during the new burst appeals. It kinda freaked me out when I noticed Makoto suddenly had a hat and Yukiho materialized with sleeves.

Can likely score Yen for some select Compendium items, like the story bundle if the price is lenient. Just waitin' on textbook Okayu translation of additional Chihaya route. *_*

Also handcuffs to go with my Wonderland Key. :U

Edit: Huh, turns out I can't actually purchase said bundle from the in-game store nor actually even see it in the PSN store... maybe you have to beat the previous ones?

How much does it even cost, anyway? ._.

The weird break in animation in Kimi wa Melody breaks my heart.

Does it look that bad? I happen to fancy long cam/choreography. D:
