Yes, once you beat the last event (#4) the max level is increased. But after the first event you can do an S rank up fes, you'll also get 20 SP for that and unlock the new skills. Btw: there are not enough SP to get all the skills at lvl 40, you'd need 20 more.

And honestly, I strongly dislike almost every single extend in OFA so far. To me the designs are highly unappealing and unflattering. Additionally, they don't feel idol-like to me, if that makes sense.
Just holding out hoping they will release something I like. Better ML/CG characters, a wedding dress, Kotori...

If that's how you feel that's fine. I don't agree at all however. If you are just going to complain no matter what they release because of ridiculous expectations I'll just ignore it next time.
