So a 1.02 update swung around for OfA -- anyone know what it does? I'm reluctant to check because I'm still breaking Producer mode with Tonari ni...! :P

As an aside, does anyone know exactly when Lucky Rabbit and BK Maniac have discount days? That'd be convenient. :3

... And speaking of the devil, my iteration of Tonari ni... went Gold. That x2.0 bonus will be put to good use, indeed...

I saw on Twitter there's a glitch where it can cause your BGM to stop playing. Not sure what the actual update is for though

It was the content update that was announced alongside with the Machiuke Prince DLC catalog.  I forgot what the full feature list was, but it includes group morning commus and quintet events.

Also I hope I get the BGM bug since that's probably the best way I can do line-out recordings for the UI sounds for cellphone notifications :V

I won't be getting the DLC for those items for a while yet - I've only just run the first part of the DLC purchase for catalog 2 - 10000 yen still has several costumes not available.

I imagine the one I'll run in two weeks will close catalog 2, and maybe I'll pick up part of catalog 3.

I'm doing neither at the moment though, since I'm working on Atelier Shallie on Hard. It's not so hard, once you get past the initial bit, and I'm still doing some bad habits (like rarely upgrading weapons, picking fights when I shouldn't, failing to use certain mechanics, and generally getting through it by winging it) even though there's no time limit anymore.

Looks like the game is all ready for the upcoming packs.

I also got hit hard by that BGM bug. I wonder if it has to do with the version of the game you're playing? I'll have to see if it does it every week in-game.

EDIT: Nope, it's very persistent. It doesn't affect performances (and I'm guessing S4U isn't hit by it, though I haven't checked), but it's still rather eerie.

There's also quite a bit of new things here. Short dialogues as morning greetings, new high-rank challenges (an S1 live with a 154,000 score requirement is pretty crazy), and there are new magazines in the store that cost 30,000 and provide the same boost that lessons do when used up. I'm not sure if they're restricted to your highest lesson achieved, but mine gave me the same bonus as the hardest lesson.

I have the new update and the disk version and there are no audio problems on my end so it might be a problem with the digital version.

New DLC is now up! I don't know if it's a misprint or not, but the third accessory pack (the one with the snorkel, dolphin, ice cream, and fins) is actually free.

EDIT: And sure enough, I think the catalog fixes the BGM bug.

@Okayu. Likewise from my end -- seems pretty weird to me.

@Yukibro. Thanks for the info! Well, better grab that pack prior to a possible fix then.

But that dolphin, though... that slightly inappropriate dolphin~.

Dandy. Turns out Tonari ni... remains omnipotent as ever in festivals, too. :3

Does anyone know how to start the DLC scenario?
I'd have to say that I'm a new Fangirl for Hokuto Ijuiin and I'm proud of it!!!

Did you unlock all the idols? If not, then I don't know. I don't have the game so I can't tell.

Based on what I've played so far from the DLC scenario:

- You need all 13 idols in your production for the job to unlock on the fourth tab.
- Each job gives you preset idols (to maintain consistency in the dialogue, I'm sure) that you can mix around for your actual job. Make sure to change the costumes beforehand!
- The jobs go from a trio to a quintet to another quintet. If the quintet options are grayed out, change your song to a quintet one.
- The first segment is a festival, while the quintets are both lives. Each job is sandwiched between two sets of commus that revolve around the President sending you to the island to learn more... as much as I could follow.
- You can review the DLC segments in the Memories section, just like the idol route commus.
